Saigon Fell Today in 1975......

Why?

The U.S. military was stabbed in the back by traitors at home.

Q: Was the American antiwar movement important to Hanoi’s victory?
A: It was essential to our strategy. Support of the war from our rear was completely secure while the American rear was vulnerable. Every day our leadership would listen to world news over the radio at 9 a.m. to follow the growth of the American antiwar movement. Visits to Hanoi by people like Jane Fonda, and former Attorney General Ramsey Clark and ministers gave us confidence that we should hold on in the face of battlefield reverses. We were elated when Jane Fonda, wearing a red Vietnamese dress, said at a press conference that she was ashamed of American actions in the war and that she would struggle along with us.

Europe Does Not Exist !

Europe is a geographical expression, though there is some debate about its boundaries. It is, to a great extent, a cultural expression but mostly as opposed to certain other cultural entities. Even in this we can see the almost unbridgeable differences when we look at the spread of “European cultures” to the New World. The massive difference between the Anglospheric and Hispanic colonization and the countries that have grown out of them has been well documented.

The Week In Review: Pajamas Media Podcast

Pump prices gone so high you can’t afford to drive to the mall to see “United 93”? Stay home and listen to Pajamas Media’s second Blog Week in Review. This time it’s Michael “Kid Neocon” Ledeen, Tammy “The Voice” Bruce, Eric “Slate” Umansky and moderator Austin “of Austin” Bay. They lock horns over Tony Snow’s tricky new job, those crazy gas prices, Iran’s belligerence and the heroic “United 93” flick. Producer: Ed “Blue Hat” Driscoll.

Join The 101st Fighting Keyboardists Today!

.... many (leftist) more do little but make ad hominem attacks on those with whom they disagree. They spend a great deal of effort labeling people rather than providing rational arguments on policy, and even the labels they select don't provide much more than amusement.

That's why Frank J of
IMAO, Derek Brigham of Freedom Dogs, and I have decided to create -- for real -- the 101st Fighting Keyboardists and adopt the chicken hawk as our mascot. First of all, the term "fighting keyboardist" describes our efforts pretty well, and we think the pseudo-military terminology is pretty danged amusing. Derek himself designed the logo.

And why the chicken hawk? When we looked into it, it turns out that the chicken hawk is a pretty impressive predator. It's the largest of its family. This species vigorously defends its territory, getting even more aggressive when the conditions get harshest. It adapts to all climates. Most impressively, it feeds on chickens, mice, and rats.

Movie of the Year: "United 93" !!!

I went to see "United 93" this afternoon at the Muvico multiplex on Interrnational Drive

http://orlando.citysearch.com/profile/11277292/orlando_fl/muvico_pointe_21.html

-- and MAN! For once the reviewers had it right! An awesome movie and a very intense experience that leaves the viewer emotionally exhausted when it ended.

At the showing I attended there was much cussing of the Muslim hijackers and murderers -- and cheering when the passengers, under the command of "Let's Roll" charge the Muzzies and start getting some paybacks by cutting Islamic throats and generally just tearing their sorry camel jockey asses to pieces.

The movie ends with a black screen and silence. At the front of the theater a man stood up and yelled two times: "Death To Islam!"..."Death To Islam!" and once "Remember 9/11"...

Many in the audience responded with "Yeah!" and "LET'S ROLL!"

Whether intended or not, Greengrass reveals the faces of men at war. And even though there are no grand, overarching truths about humanity, or good and evil, or the superiority of one set of beliefs over another in U-93 (there is a short scene toward the end of the film that shows both passengers and terrorists praying), the singular fact that “they” attacked us and “we” fought back cannot be denied, cannot be hidden despite the desperate attempt by some over the last 5 years to do so. We are at war.

Paul Greengrass and Universal set out to tell the story of United Flight 93 on that terrible day in our nation's history. They set about the task of telling this story with a genuine intent to get it right--the actions of those on board and honor their memory. Their extensive research included reaching out to all the families who had lost loved ones on United Flight 93 as the first casualties of this war. And Paul and his team got it right.

As Friday's opening of "United 93" approaches, the questions tug at the mind and the heart.

Are you ready for a movie about the passengers who fought back on the hijacked plane that crashed into a Pennsylvania field on 9/11?

I saw United 93 yesterday.

I'm not sure if I can use this word as an adjective, but it keeps coming to mind, so here goes. It was shaking. I was shaken. I was shaky. However you want to say it, that's what it did.

It was also, at turns, moving, eerie, creepy, heavy, stark, gritty, exhilarating. I'm not gonna lie. It wasn't easy to watch. But I'm glad I watched it.

As the chilling, soul-wrenching, and unglamorously heroic events play out, the controversy that has surrounded the film -- is it too soon? is it exploitative? -- seems ludicrous. Too soon? It's been nearly five years since the terrorist attacks. Exploitative? What is exploitative is the way the events of 9/11 have consistently been exploited for political purposes. In fact, the film comes across as determinedly unexploitative. The forty ordinary people on the ill-fated flight -- 33 passengers and 7 crew members -- acted in an extraordinary manner. It's offensive to suggest that we are somehow collectively too squeamish to watch

This movie is real. It portrays actual events and it tries to duplicate them as closely as possible. So when you watch this -- it's about an hour-40 minutes, hour-45 -- when you watch this you know what's going to happen at every stage. Well, you know what's going to happen at areas you know. Some of the behind the scenes things that are portrayed in the movie you'll see for the first time, and I don't know how accurate those are. For example, the North American Defense Command out of Rome, New York, the military up there that's designed to identify rogue aircraft entering our space is actually portrayed as bumbling incompetents, unable to keep track of domestic airliners when they've turned their transponders off.

United 93 (* * * * out of four) is an unflinching, powerfully visceral and haunting portrait of the tragic events aboard one of the terrorist-commandeered flights on the fateful morning of Sept. 11, 2001. Painstakingly researched from reports of flight recordings, air traffic controllers and aviation officials, as well as cellphone calls made to family members by some of the passengers, it is undeniably the most gut-wrenching and captivating film released this year.
What writer/director Paul Greengrass has re-created is not only the devastating human drama aboard the flight but also the reaction of authorities on land as they become acutely aware of — and powerless to stop — the horror of the developments.

A Nuclear Al Qaeda?

My opinion is that if Al Qaeda had suitcase nuclear weapons they would have used them by now.

Hamid Mir, the only journalist to interview Osama bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri in the wake of 9/11, has confirmed that al-Qaida has obtained nuclear suitcase weapons from the Russian black market, that the weapons were tested in Kabul in 2000 and that may have already been forward deployed to the United States.

The Arab Freedom Fighters Of The Middle East

In the World War against Islam, Americans should never forget there is in existence in every Muslim country of the Middle East, Asia and Africa thousands of liberty loving and American loving individualists. Many of these stalwart persons have taken to the Internet where they publish Blogs that are pro-American and anti-Islamic. It is easy in this country to support the cause of freedom, one's life, limb and freedom of speech is protected by the U.S. Constitution, but Freedom Fighters such as "Big Pharaoh" and "Sandmonkey" run the risk daily of assassination by the Islamists for speaking and writing the truth should their true identities be known.
A recent newspaper article on the "Big Pharaoh" and "Sandmonkey," two fine intellectuals and heroic Arab Freedom Fighters:

Many Arabs are free only to "scream and rant" against Israel and America, he said. Yet "ask any one of those protesters if they want a green card" enabling them to live and work in the United States, and "they would be all over you."

The 24-year-old is one of a growing number of Arab bloggers speaking out -- angrily, passionately, irreverently -- on the region's explosive issues. They also coordinate anti-government demonstrations and interfaith vigils, reveal human-rights abuses and explain the voting rights of Egypt's 70 million people.
Fellow blogger "Big Pharaoh" ventured into cyberspace in April 2004 with encouragement from "Zeyad," an Iraqi blogger. "I felt I was going to explode," Big Pharoah, 26, said. "I had all these opinions in me, and I wanted to share them."

Like Sandmonkey, he asked not to be identified because "we are in Egypt, and we never know what can happen." Many Egyptians refuse to speak out publicly for fear of being charged with tarnishing the state's reputation.

Lately, both bloggers have denounced the violence sweeping the Islamic world over the publication of Danish newspaper cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammed. A "Buy Danish" notice appears prominently on Sandmonkey's site.
"Boycotting and vilifying an entire nation for what these cartoonists did -- it was so childish ... so stupid," Big Pharaoh said.

Islam: The Civilization of Deception

Life In Iraq, Part II: Civilization of Deception

If the Iran nuclear crisis seems like 'deja vu all over again" it's because it is.The United States, along with most of the world, stood in awe during the run-up to the Persian Gulf War, as Saddam Hussein seemed to make and break a dizzying array of promises and commitments with frightening speed and ease, right up until the moment we unleashed our tanks and his vaunted armies unleashed their white flags.
The UN, Europe, and the Clinton Administration jumped for joy at every promise the lovely and talented Mr. Arafat spewed forth in support of the "Roadmap to Peace", until his unbroken streak of broken promises finally ended -- but only because he finally died. Now we have a similar scenario with Iran's "enthusiastic" leader, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (damn Muslim names -- let's just call him "Uncle Mah", shall we?) who makes more promises about "peaceful future intentions" than a convicted child molester up for parole. The only difference is, the child molester has a much better chance of keeping his promises to reform and rehabilitate -- and we all know how likely that is!
So what is it about these blessed followers of the "Religion of Peace" that enables them to -- not bend, not spin, not obfuscate -- but flat-out LIE all the time? I'm no anthropologist, but the time I've spent in Iraq over the last couple of years has provided me with a big clue as to why these guys seem so able to look the world straight in the eye and lie as easily and frequently as they bend over and . . .well, pray.

Breaking News: Christians are NOT Rioting over offensive & profane Jesus Cartoons!

They pray for the immortal soul of the person who drew this awful picture.

Another American university tackles free speech, and everyone involved embarrasses themselves — except the conservatives. A parable for our times.

World Net Daily broke the news yesterday that a far-left student newspaper at the University of Oregon — called “The Insurgent” appropriately enough — decided to publish 12 deliberately offensive cartoons of Jesus in their March issue. Why? Because the Oregon Commentator [update: link removed - see below], a conservative student newspaper at U of O, recently published the 12 Jyllands-Posten cartoons of Mohammed. The Insurgent wanted Christians to know what it felt like to have their religion insulted.

Because, really, what would Christians know about something like that?

ATLAS SHRUGGED at long last?

I've heard this film project debated for years: I'll believe the movie is made when I see it.

Ayn Rand's most ambitious novel may finally be brought to the bigscreen after years of false starts.

Lionsgate has picked up worldwide distribution rights to "Atlas Shrugged" from Howard and Karen Baldwin ("Ray"), who will produce with John Aglialoro.

As for stars, book provides an ideal role for an actress in lead character Dagny Taggart, so it's not a stretch to assume Rand enthusiast Angelina JolieAngelina Jolie's name has been brought up. Brad PittBrad Pitt, also a fan, is rumored to be among the names suggested for lead male character John Galt
.
"Atlas Shrugged," which runs more than 1,100 pages, has faced a lengthy and circuitous journey to a film adaptation.

The Russian-born author's seminal tome, published in 1957, revolves around the economic collapse of the U.S. sometime in the future and espouses her individualistic philosophy of objectivism. The violent, apocalyptic ending has always posed a challenge but could prove especially so in the post-9/11 climate.

A Modest Proposal In Regards To Islam

Lift the veil of fabulism; investigate and expose the true contents of the Koran & Hadith.

Hold public hearings to let the citizens of America and the world see and hear the reality of Islamic doctrine and practice.
Revoke the charter of Islam. Declare it to be the predator it is, not a religion! Reject all demands for "protecting" the Koran from "desecration". Can Mein Kampf be desecrated? How then is it possible to desecrate the Koran? Reject all demands to outlaw criticism of Islam. Lifting the lid from the septic tank & exposing the Koran's contents does not constitute blasphemy. Allah is an idol, not God!

Begin the process of contesting Islam on the only battlefield where we can win without bloodshed: the ideological battlefield. Broadcast the truth about Allah's unholy sacraments & Muhammad's exemplary performance of them, thereby planting the seeds of doubt & introspection which can sprout and blossom into mass apostasy among the Ummah.
Emancipating Allah's slaves is the key to permanently ending Islam's reign of terror.
Effectively close our borders to Islamic infiltrators. Identify, round up and deport all Islamic illegal aliens. Identify and interview all Islamic legal resident aliens. Deport those who can not pass a polygraph exam regarding their peaceful intentions.
Increase the scope, scale & effectiveness of surveillance programs watching the activities of Islamic citizens & organizations.

Islam To Be Outlawed?

Over the last several weeks, the blogesphere has commented on whether Islam is compatible with democracy. After all, isn’t that what Bush wants to bring to the Islamic dominated states of the mid-East? He firmly believes that the two are not only compatible as a governing system but also in law.

He’s wrong.

Look at the two constitutions of Afghanistan and Iraq and compare it to that of Iran’s and you can readily see the mistake. Here are the first two articles of their constitutions.

A Pity We Aren't At War With Islam.....

By D.T. Devareaux

April 27, 2006

"A pity we aren't at war with Islam."

A pity because Islam is at war with us. As the recent cartoon shenanigans have proven, casualties need not take the form of smoldering sky scrapers or headless corpses; fundamental American institutions such as a free press and freedom of speech have not only been attacked, but willingly led to the slaughter by those of us entrusted to protect and defend them – respectively, our easily cowed media and our piteously incompetent representatives.
Nor were these casualties given over to an extreme minority; it is ISLAM, not bin Laden’s ragtag rebels, which forbids depictions of Muhammad. ISLAM, not a disenfranchised few, commanded that embassies be burned and the heads of cartoonists be taken. The mobs of Muslims who took to the streets of Europe to threaten new and improved Holocausts and 9/11s weren’t cave-ridden rejects from Western imperialism – they were our Western-dwelling, so-called moderate neighbors (for if they’re not “moderates,” what excuse do we have in allowing such, to say the least, readily radicalized people to live a mere stone’s throw away from civilization?).
Every ridiculous concession made – whether it’s the orientation of British prison toilets or the censoring St. George – is made not to Sheik Abdul Rahman or al-Zarqawi, but to ISLAM. I quoted Laurence Auster before and I’ll quote him yet again because he stated it so succinctly: “the tolerant people, who don’t believe in any particular truth, will begin living under the laws and customs of the religious people, who do.” And those laws and customs, which will we increasingly find ourselves subject to, are not the laws and customs of some mythic minority but of ISLAM.
I understand the reluctance in many peoples’ minds not to address this conflict as an Islamic one. George Washington himself said the best way to make someone your enemy is to declare them as such. The Muslim world is a powder keg and so long as we keep the wick damp with conciliatory rhetoric (e.g. “Islam is a religion of peace”) we think we can prevent its ignition; which may be true, but only for the present. The potential will always exists, until that keg is gutted, for destruction; and as Muslim populations gain majority footholds in Western countries that potentiality will provide them with ever-increasing leverage. The question becomes: do we name the problem now, and deal with the collective tantrum and mayhem of 1.5 billion Muslims, or do we recognize it later when we’re compelled to do so – the necessity of doing so dictated by the proximity of our necks to the chopping block – but only after sizable enclaves of inassimilable and belligerent Muslims spring up within our own cities?
We have the absolute right to apply our laws and honor our institutions, even if that requires discriminating against the laws and institutions of alien cultures; and especially when those alien cultures are openly hostile to our own. The Islam that requires us—through an ever-present threat of violence—to respect it and to honor its laws while scoffing at the slightest intimation of reciprocity is an Islam that does not belong in the West; it is an Islam, will mature and able, that will bare its teeth and mark its territory in our blood. We will only have ourselves to blame for not putting the bloody dog to death when we had the chance.

French Leader Denounces Islam

PARIS, April 23 (Reuters) - A far-right French politician launched his 2007 presidential campaign on Sunday denouncing what he called the Islamisation of the country and declaring Islam incompatible with France's secular values
.
Philippe de Villiers, head of the anti-immigrant Movement for France (MPF) party, also charged that Paris's Charles de Gaulle airport was endangered by Islamist radicals who he said had infiltrated the ground staff there.

Villiers has stirred up controversy in recent weeks with increasingly tough statements about Muslims, which critics call racist and officials describe as exaggerated. France's 5 million Muslims make up the largest such minority in Europe.

"I am the only politician who tells the French the truth about the Islamisation of France," he said in a Europe 1 radio interview kicking off his campaign for the election next year.

Support The Professor!

SOME SOLID THINKERS IN DETROIT
By Neal Boortz

Here's some light reading for you. You will remember I told you about a Michigan State University professor who sent an email to a Muslim student group. Among other things, this professor suggested that if these Muslims don't particularly like the values of the West, then they should just leave. Now, of course, the Muslims are demanding that the professor be reprimanded. This is in keeping with Muslim activists around the world. They are working hard not only in this country, but in Europe as well to get government institutions to clamp down on any public speech that Muslims might find (gasp!) offensive! Believe it or not, these anti-free-speech Muslims are actually making headway! Will they succeed in getting this politically incorrect professor punished? Well, the Detroit Free Press has comment board where people can post remarks on the controversy.
Here's your link. I think you'll be heartened by most of what you read.

Media Circles Wagons Around Mary McCarthy

RUSH: I have to mention here that: (
story) "Despite the CIA's goal of cracking down on leaks of classified information, the government may forgo criminal charges against [Mary McCarthy]... The officials cited a number of obstacles to pursuing the case, including that the employee was fired in part over polygraph results that would not be admissible as evidence and that she was accused of leaking secrets the government would be reluctant to air in court. The strength of the CIA's evidence against the fired employee, Mary O. McCarthy, also has come under scrutiny. McCarthy's attorney, Ty Cobb, said that contrary to the CIA's statement last week, she did not disclose classified information or confess to doing so to agency investigators."

WSJ: Don't Miss "Flight 93!"

This film further reminds us of the nature of the enemy we face. An enemy who will stop at nothing to achieve world domination and force a life devoid of freedom upon all. Their methods are inhumane and their targets are the innocent and unsuspecting. We call this conflict the "War on Terror." This film is a wake-up call. And although we abhor terrorism as a tactic, we are at war with a real enemy and it is personal.

There are those who would hope to escape the pain of war. Can't we just live and let live and pretend every thing is OK? Let's discuss, negotiate, reason together. The film accurately shows an enemy who will stop at nothing in a quest for control. This enemy does not seek our resources, our land or our materials, but rather to alter our very way of life.

I encourage my fellow Americans and free people everywhere to see "United 93."
Be reminded of our very real enemy. Be inspired by a true story of heroic actions taken by ordinary people with victorious consequences. Be thankful for each precious day of life with a loved one and make the most of it. Resolve to take the right action in the situations of life, whatever they may be. Resolve to give thanks and support to those men, women, leaders and commanders who to this day (1,687 days since Sept. 11, 2001) continue the counterattacks on our enemy and in so doing keep us safe and our freedoms intact.

The World At War: Top News Stories

TIA Daily • April 26, 2006
Top News Stories

Commentary by Robert Tracinski

1. The Domestic Policy Mess If domestic policy were the main issue of the day, I don't expect that I could bring myself to say much that is positive about President Bush.

On foreign policy and the war, Bush frequently projects the air of a man who knows that there are life-and-death issues at stake and accepts the responsibility of choosing correctly; on domestic policy, he tends to project the style of a poll-watching, almost Clinton-esque middle of the roader. Case in point: his response to rising gasoline prices.

As a former oil man, Bush knows that talk about "price gouging" and "windfall profits" is pure demagoguery. He also knows the price of oil is pushed up by a fully justified "petronoia" over war with Iran. Yet rather than name the real truth, he calls for a "price-gouging" inquiry (though he clearly knows that this is an empty gesture and will produce no prosecutions) and raises taxes on oil companies—while simultaneously, schizophrenically, suspending environmental regulations on gasoline refiners.

It is a pragmatist hash that is, unfortunately, typical of Bush's domestic agenda—which is one reason why we probably shouldn't be too upset that his agenda has largely stalled since September 11.
" Joseph Curl, Washington Times, April 26 President Bush yesterday ordered a temporary suspension of environmental rules for gasoline, which are creating bottlenecks in US gasoline markets, and announced a federal investigation into potential manipulation of gas prices that have topped $3 per gallon.

Mr. Bush, responding to high fuel costs that are expected all summer, said oil companies have a responsibility to American motorists and called on Congress to strip away tax breaks the corporations are enjoying amid record profits.

"Listen, at record prices, these energy companies have got large cash flows, and they need to reinvest those cash flows into expanding refining capacity, or researching alternative energy sources," the president said in a speech to the Renewable Fuels Association, which advocates alternate energy sources, yesterday in Washington….

Mr. Bush also suspended new purchases of crude oil for the US Strategic Petroleum Reserve, a small move to boost market supplies.

Analysts and Democrats predicted that the actions will do little to dampen high prices this summer….

Past investigations of price gouging have concluded that "the industry is reasonably competitive and the explanation for price increases lies in other causes," said Bert Foer, president of the American Antitrust Institute. The chance that investigators will find anything new "strikes me as fairly low," he said.

2. Will Snow Put Spring into the Second Term? A large part of the president's job is ideological: he has to be an effective public advocate for his policies. The president's right-hand man in this task is, or ought to be, his press secretary, who holds daily press conferences to promote the views of the administration.

Bush can be good at advocating his ideas in infrequent speeches, and on issues where he has a coherent idea to advocate (e.g., the Forward Strategy of Freedom). But he has never had a really good press secretary. Up to now, he has picked self-effacing little men whose job was to serve as a human Dictaphone reading off the day's "talking points."

Now, for the first time, Bush has picked an advocate, and a relatively effective one: Fox News commentator Tony Snow. News reports are making a big story out of some minor (and generally valid) criticisms of the administration in Snow's columns. But he is generally a good fit for the administration, especially on the war and on immigration, and he should invigorate the administration's advocacy.
" Jim Rutenberg, New York Times, April 26 Mr. Bush, while praising Mr. Snow's long experience in print, radio and television, noted that "he's not afraid of expressing his own opinions" and that "he sometimes disagreed with me." He said when he asked Mr. Snow about those critical remarks, he replied, "You should have heard what I said about the other guy."

But he made it clear that Mr. Snow is no longer an independent agent. "My job is to make decisions," the president said. "And his job is to help explain those decisions to the press corps and the American people."…

Unlike the soft-spoken current press secretary, Scott McClellan, who announced his resignation last week, Mr. Snow is something of a showman, having earned his living in a world in which success hinges upon being provocative.

Mr. Snow has written recent columns critical of Mr. Bush, arguing that his White House had lost its verve and direction in his second term….

In the past week, Mr. Snow has also made it clear that he was negotiating for as much access as possible before taking the job. He said in an interview on the Fox News Channel that he was interested in the position because he would be part of "an inner White House circle."

Though White House officials have consistently said that Mr. McClellan has had all the access he wanted, the perception remained among members of both parties that he did not. Either way, the senior administration official who spoke for this article said Mr. Snow would have "walk-in privileges" and an important role in "strategic thinking."

3. A New Immigration Compromise? The best part of President Bush's domestic agenda is his advocacy of a liberalized immigration policy. He has now met with some key Senate leaders in an attempt to push through a relatively decent compromise that would allow long-time illegal immigrants to become citizens—after spending years jumping through INS hoops. There is little likelihood, however, that this can be reconciled with the "berserk" anti-immigration bill passed by the House.
" Stephen Dinan, Washington Times, April 26 President Bush and a group of senators yesterday reached general agreement on an immigration bill that includes a pathway to citizenship for many illegal aliens….

Mr. Bush in brief remarks to the press said there was agreement to get "a bill that does not grant automatic amnesty to people, but a bill that says, somebody who is working here on a legal basis has the right to get in line to become a citizen."…

"There was a pretty good consensus that what we have put into the Hagel-Martinez proposal here is the right way to go," said Sen. Mel Martinez, Florida Republican. "I think he was very clear [on] pathway to citizenship, so long as it goes to the back of the line, and he even opened the door here for something we've haggled back and forth on, that you can shrink the time for people to become citizens by simply enlarging the number of green cards."

And Sen. Sam Brownback, Kansas Republican, said Mr. Bush "endorsed the concept of an earned citizenship."…

Even as Mr. Bush is moving in that direction, the House majority leader yesterday rejected it.

4. The Imprisoned Lightning One of the things that makes me really angry about the immigration debate is the way in which immigrants, especially Mexican immigrants, are routinely slandered as criminals and welfare parasites, and as only being capable of brute physical labor.

There is no shame, of course, in menial labor; productive work is a virtue, whatever the level of one's abilities. But immigrants always bring more than just brawn. They bring minds whose imprisoned potential is waiting to be liberated in a free society.

At about this time last year, I linked to one example, a remarkable story about four teenaged Mexican immigrants from Arizona who won a nationwide robotics contest, beating teams from top American universities.

Below is a very similar story about a Senagalese immigrant who is also part of a winning team in a robotics competition. But the INS is now seeking to deport him. This young man seems to be not only bright, but motivated and resourceful. Why on earth would we want to reject this kind of mind from our country?
" Nina Bernstein, New York Times, April 26 A small, troubled high school in East Harlem seemed an unlikely place to find students for a nationwide robot-building contest, but when a neighborhood after-school program started a team last winter, 19 students signed up. One was Amadou Ly, a senior who had been fending for himself since he was 14.

The project had only one computer and no real work space. Engineering advice came from an elevator mechanic and a machinist's son without a college degree. But in an upset that astonished its sponsors, the rookie team from East Harlem won the regional competition last month, beating rivals from elite schools like Stuyvesant in Manhattan and the Bronx High School of Science for a chance to compete in the national robotics finals in Atlanta that begins tomorrow.

Yet for Amadou, who helps operate the robot the team built, success has come at a price. As the group prepared for the flight to Atlanta today, he was forced to reveal his secret: he is an illegal immigrant from Senegal, with no ID to allow him to board a plane. Left here long ago by his mother, he has no way to attend the college that has accepted him, and only a slim chance to win his two-year court battle against deportation.

In the end, his fate could hinge on immigration legislation now being debated in Congress. Several Senate bills include a pathway for successful high school graduates to earn legal status. But a measure passed by the House of Representatives would make his presence in the United States a felony, and both House and Senate bills would curtail the judicial review that allows exceptions to deportation….

"He's been a hard-working and diligent student with mathematical ability and a scientific mind," said Rhonda Creed-Harry, a math teacher at Central Park East.

5. America's Fifth Column The primary reason we face continued setbacks and slowdowns in the War on Terrorism is not the errors of those who want to fight the war, but rather the active opposition to American interests from a significant portion of America's intellectuals. This includes virtually every humanities professor in academia, and also, to a lesser degree, a large portion of the press corps.

How else do you explain the mainstream media's glee at revealing America's war secrets, its eagerness to feed and amplify enemy propaganda campaigns (such as the Abu Ghraib hysteria), and its bizarre detachment from "George Bush's war"—as if they have no stake in America's success or failure. As it is, they do have a stake: when America succeeds, it will expose their failure to objectively cover the news.
Max Boot, Los Angeles Times, April 26 On June 7, 1942, shortly after the Battle of Midway, the Chicago Tribune carried a scoop: "Navy Had Word of Jap Plan to Strike at Sea." The story, written by a correspondent who had seen intelligence reports left in an officer's cabin, reported that the US knew in advance the composition of the Japanese fleet. It didn't say where this information came from, but senior officers privy to the US success in breaking Japanese codes were apoplectic at this security breach. The Justice Department convened a grand jury to consider whether to charge the Tribune and its flamboyant owner, editor and publisher, Col. Robert McCormick, with a violation of the Espionage Act of 1917.

No charges were brought, in part because military officials were unwilling to share classified information about intelligence gathering. But the Chicago Tribune was reviled by other journalists for betraying national security, and no other publication followed up its revelation.
1st Amendment hero, and his newspaper would have been showered with accolades. That, at least, is the only conclusion one can draw from this year's Pulitzer Prizes….

The Washington Post's Dana Priest won a prize for revealing the existence of secret CIA-operated prisons in Eastern Europe, and the New York Times' James Risen and Eric Lichtblau won for revealing the existence of a secret program to intercept communications between terrorists abroad and their domestic contacts….

Having written for major newspapers for years, I have never found any Al Qaeda moles in the newsroom. What I have found is that journalists feel more bound by their duty to their profession than to their country and that their highest professional calling, as they see it, is to preserve a halo of "objectivity" by not choosing sides in any controversy.

No one working for the mainstream media today would refer, as Ernie Pyle did during World War II, to "our soldiers," "our offensive," "our predicament." Today it's "American soldiers," "the military offensive" and (most damning of all) "the president's predicament"—as if this were Bush's war, not ours.

6. The Egyptian Chasm With all of the pabulum being spread about "moderate Muslims" and Islam as a "religion of peace," many people still don't grasp just how deep a chasm separates the Western mindset from the mindset of Islam. The recent bombings in Egypt are a reminder, and the article below spells out their meaning.

Particularly striking is its description of the difference between Western and Muslim attitudes toward the monuments of ancient Egypt. The scientific, humanist mindset of the West views them as archaeological treasures to be studied. The blindly fanatical mindset of the Muslim world views them as worthless remnants left by pre-Muslim infidels.

"Bloody Monday," Robert Spencer, Frontpage Magazine, April 25 Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman and his ilk target tourist spots for the same reason they targeted the World Trade Center: to harm their enemy economically. Tourism accounts, directly and indirectly, for over ten percent of Egypt's Gross Domestic Product; destabilizing the tourist industry could cripple the Egyptian economy as a whole and possibly even topple the government….

But the enemy of these groups is not just Hosni Mubarak. These attacks allow the mujahedin abundant opportunity to express their hatred for infidels…. In choosing tourist sites as particular foci of their attacks, the jihadists are striking a blow for the pure Egypt they envision: one that is not trodden down by infidel tourists or dependent upon infidel money. To the dour ideologues who perpetrated the attacks in Dahab Monday, resorts such as Dahab represent the worst of infidel decadence: immodest clothing, sport, revelry…. By making tourists too afraid to come to Egypt, the mujahedin hope to cleanse the land of these evils.

The attacks at the sites of ancient ruins—such as the Luxor attacks of 1997 and the shooting at the Pyramids in 1996—most likely also have another motivation. Just this month the Grand Mufti of Egypt, Ali Gomaa, issued a fatwa declaring statues un-Islamic…. To the pious killers who commit terror attacks near the artifacts of Egypt’s pre-Islamic past—pyramids, sarcophagi, temples—these treasures are thus all just so much trash: monuments of jahiliyyah, the pre-Islamic period of ignorance.

WSJ: Republicans Will Still Control Congress in 2006

The recent election talk from our pundit class has been about the chances of a Democratic takeover of the House. Many expect this. I am open to this possibility; however, as I have written in the past, I think the data favor a Republican retention. I am also open to, and would be interested to read, a thorough argument that supports a Democratic takeover. Many pundits draw this conclusion, but I have yet to read the support necessary for it. In other words, my real objection is not so much to the conclusions of pundits, but to how they have drawn the conclusions. On the path to a declaration for the Democrats, they all stumble.

Apes equal to humans!

"Yes, but when do we get the right to vote?"

The Spanish Socialist Party will introduce a bill in the Congress of Deputies calling for "the immediate inclusion of (simians) in the category of persons, and that they be given the moral and legal protection that currently are only enjoyed by human beings." The PSOE's justification is that humans share 98.4% of our genes with chimpanzees, 97.7% with gorillas, and 96.4% with orangutans.

Send The Traitor To Prison!

Prosecute McCarthy, Send Her to Prison

by Patrick J. Buchanan
Posted Apr 25, 2006
Mary McCarthy, special assistant to President Clinton and senior director of intelligence in his White House, has been fired by the CIA. McCarthy allegedly told the Washington Post our NATO allies were secretly letting the CIA operate bases on their soil for the interrogation of terror suspects. Apparently, McCarthy failed several polygraph tests, after which she confessed. If true, she was faithless to her oath, betrayed the trust of her country, damaged America's ties to foreign intelligence agencies and governments, and broke the law. The Justice Department is investigating whether McCarthy violated the Espionage Act.

http://www.humaneventsonline.com/article.php?id=14279

Mary quite contrary: On Friday, the CIA
dismissed Mary McCarthy, a 61-year-old analyst who leaked information about secret CIA prisons to Washington Post reporter Dana Priest, who recently won a Pulitzer for her coverage of the CIA and the war on terror. McCarthy, who worked for both the Clinton and George W. Bush administrations, has become a cause célèbre for the left and a whipping girl for the right.

Iran Moving Closer To War With USA

Commentary by Robert Tracinski
The Intellectual Activist Magazine
April 26, 2006

Iran Double Dog Dares Us Iran continues its strategy of openly, flamboyantly daring the US to take military action, and even threatening to provide nuclear technology to the (literally) slave-driving Muslim dictators of Sudan. Iran's theocrats seem to be totally convinced that the Europeans, the UN, and the Bush administration have been so emasculated by Western defeatism that none of them will take action against Iran.

The oil markets remain unconvinced, with oil soaring to $75 per barrel,
reflecting an Iran "risk premium." Either that, or the oil markets think President Bush won't act and that things will get even worse once Iran has the bomb. Either way, the time for action is getting shorter and shorter. The sooner we bring down this regime, the easier it will be.
Ali Akbar Dareini, AP via New York Sun, April 25 Iran threatened on Tuesday to halt all cooperation with the UN atomic energy agency if the UN Security Council imposes sanctions, warning that Tehran might hide its nuclear program if the West takes any other "harsh measures."

Iran's supreme leader, meanwhile, said in a meeting with Sudan's president that Tehran was ready to transfer its nuclear technology to other countries….

Larijani's comments came a day after Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad boldly predicted the Security Council would not impose sanctions and warned he was thinking about dropping out of the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty.

On Tuesday, Larijani said flatly that Iran would not abide by Friday's deadline….

He also hinted that sanctions or even what he called coercive language from the Security Council would cause Iran to speed up its nuclear activities….

Ahmadinejad appears to be banking on support from China and Russia to dissuade Washington from pressing a sanctions vote.

The Truth About Farris Hassan

*UPDATED 23 January 2006: Read more about Farris HASSAN'S adventure as reported by Cinnamon Stillwell on January 10 and by Tom Blumer on January 21, 2006. Both write for NewsBusters.org - click on their names to read their accounts.18 January 2006: Farris HASSAN, the 16-year-old Pine Crest student from Fort Lauderdale who left the comforts of his $4 million family home on December 11 for Iraq, claimed that he made the trip to put his lessons of his “immersion journalism” class into practice, and selected Iraq out of humanitarian concerns for the Iraqi people. His story quickly caught the attention of the media, who portrayed this young man as adventurous but naive, and his worried parents clueless to his intentions until they received an e-mail from him when he was in Kuwait. Upon his return home, he would certainly face the consequences from his concerned parents, despite his ostensibly altruistic intentions.
With all of the reporters covering the story, however, it appears that no one did any research into the background of the Hassan family, or made any attempts to verify the young man’s story. If they had, they might have been compelled to ask some very basic – but extremely important questions.Even the most basic research found that Farris Hassan was NOT enrolled in any journalism class at Pine Crest, which should automatically cast doubt on the true nature of his journey. Lourdes Cowgill, president of the Pine Crest School, said that Hassan was never given an "immersion journalism" assignment. Also, the school confirmed that the boy’s father, Dr. Redha Hassan not only knew of his son’s intended travels, but authorized his absence, which is inconsistent with his initial public statements.Further, investigation found a number of other inconsistencies in the public statements made by Dr. Redha Hassan. Although it was initially reported that neither parent knew of the young boy’s intended travels, it was ultimately revealed that Dr. Hassan actually assisted his son. He admitted that he arranged for his son's flight into Baghdad through his political connections, even though he knew the grave risks to “foreigners” wandering the streets of Baghdad. [According to a January 2, 2005 CNN news story, Hassan's father said that he had helped his son get a visa into Iraq from Beirut.
The elder Hassan said he was leaving Iraq himself when the teen called, unable to get into the country from Kuwait. He told him to go to Lebanon and said he spoke with him almost daily].Perhaps most importantly, research and investigation into Dr. Redha Hassan found that he was arrested by the FBI in 1985 for forging 2000 Iraqi passports and military I.D. cards and seeking to forge 2,000 more. Dr. Hassan asked his next-door-neighbor and print store owner Joel Feinstein to make the passports and IDs. According to Feinstein, Dr. Hassan claimed the documents were for his family in Iraq. Feinstein reported the request to the FBI, and became an operational asset for the federal government, leading to Hassan’s arrest. Also arrested were two of Farris's uncles and a "pro-Khomeini" activist identified as Salah Jawad Shubber. Interestingly, Dr. Hassan, who also went by the name Redha K. Alsawaf, was also the President of the now defunct Florida non-profit organization World Orphanage & Refugee Relief Foundation at the time of his arrest.
Authorities dropped the charges against Hassan, and Shubber ultimately pled guilty to conspiracy charges.Farris Hassan’s initial stop was Amsterdam, Netherlands, where he claims that he bought a ticket on KLM Airlines. From Amsterdam, Hassan headed to Kuwait City, where he alleges that he tried to cross the Kuwait-Iraq border twice by taxi, but was turned away due to Iraqi elections. At that point, it appears that Hassan sought assistance from his father, who told Farris to travel to Beirut and stay with family friends. Obligingly, Farris spent ten days in Beirut, and while there, met with a media relations officer of the terrorist group Hezbollah at their Central Press Office. This meeting was arranged through the assistance of his hosts – the family’s friends.
Hezbollah is a Shiite Muslim organization based in Lebanon and tied to Iran. They have a significant presence in Iraq, and an army that is resolved to drive the Americans out of Iraq. Given the family history, the inconsistencies and the public contradictions, could it be that Hassan was going to Iraq to join Hezbollah to fight against the "American occupation?" Perhaps those are the questions that need to be asked.

Nazi To Muslim: One Small Step

.....And an easy one too!

Two faces, two converts - two Muslim extremists in Britain
David Myatt, who has changed his name to Abdul Aziz ibn Myatt, is a former leader of Combat 18; he now says Islam is the best hope for "fighting the West". Photo: BBC Panorama

A NEO-NAZI whose ideas were said to be the inspiration for the man who let off a nail bomb in Central London in 1999 has converted to an extremist form of Islam.

David Myatt, a founder of the hardline British National Socialist Movement (NSM) who has been jailed for racist attacks, has changed his name to Abdul Aziz ibn Myatt. David Copeland, who is serving six life sentences after three people died in his Soho bomb attacks, was a member of the NSM
.
Myatt is reportedly the author of a fascist terrorist handbook and a former leader of the violent far-right group Combat 18. But now — in his mid-50s and sporting a red, bushy beard — he subscribes to radical Islamist views.

NI_MPU('middle'); In an internet essay entitled From Neo-Nazi to Muslim, Myatt asks: “How was it that I, a Westerner with a history of over 25 years of political involvement in extreme right-wing organisations, a former leader of the political wing of the neo-Nazi group Combat 18, came to be standing outside a mosque with a sincere desire to go inside and convert to Islam? “These were the people who I had been fighting on the streets, I had swore (sic) at and had used violence against — indeed, one of my terms of imprisonment was a result of me leading a gang of skinheads in a fight against ‘Pakis’.”

In a later interview, Myatt supports the killing of any Muslim who breaks his oath of loyalty to Islam, and the setting up of a Muslim superstate. He describes himself as having been “staunchly opposed to non-white immigration into Britain and twice jailed for violence in pursuit of my political aims”.

He added: “I spent several decades of my life fighting for what I regarded as my people, my race and my nation, and endured two terms of imprisonment arising out of my political activities.”

But his belief is now that: “The pure authentic Islam of the revival, which recognises practical jihad (holy war) as a duty, is the only force that is capable of fighting and destroying the dishonour, the arrogance, the materialism of the West . . . For the West, nothing is sacred, except perhaps Zionists, Zionism, the hoax of the so-called Holocaust, and the idols which the West and its lackeys worship, or pretend to worship, such as democracy.

“They want, and demand, that we abandon the purity of authentic Islam and either bow down before them and their idols, or accept the tame, secularised, so-called Islam which they and their apostate lackeys have created.

“This may well be a long war, of decades or more — and we Muslims have to plan accordingly. We must affirm practical jihad — to take part in the fight to free our lands from the kuffar (unbelievers). Jihad is our duty.”

Myatt, who briefly became a monk after his second spell in prison, said that he became a Muslim while working long hours alone on a farm. He grew up in Africa, moved to Britain in 1967 and spent time living in Worcestershire. In July 2000 Searchlight, the anti-fascist magazine, described him as “the most ideologically-driven Nazi in Britain, preaching race war and terrorism”.

Myatt was the architect of the NSM and was involved in the leadership of Combat 18. He issued a statement in response to the Soho nail bombings saying: “Neither myself nor anyone else connected to the NSM can be held responsible for these bombs in any way. That responsibility lies with the person who constructed them, planted them and caused them to explode. Only that person, and God, know the motive behind the attacks.”

Myatt said that “all bombs are terrible and barbaric”, whether detonated by lone bombers, Western governments in Iraq or Zionists in Palestine.

“The NSM considered the creation of a revolutionary situation in this country as necessary since it wished to build an entirely new society, based upon personal honour, and believed this could only be done by destroying the dishonourable and corrupt society of the present.

“However, the NSM neither preached, nor sought to incite, what is called ‘racial hatred’. Instead, it strove to propagate the warrior values of honour, loyalty and duty, and make the British people aware of, and come to value, their ancestral warrior culture and warrior heritage.”

Myatt said recently that he had given up hope of a breakthrough by the far Right and believed that Muslims were the best hope for combating Zionism and the West. “There will not be an uprising, a revolution, in any Western nation, by nationalists, racial nationalists, or National Socialists — because these people lack the desire, the motivation, the ethos, to do this and because they do not have the support of even a large minority of their own folk,” he said.

“If these nationalists, or some of them, desire to aid us, to help us . . . they can do the right thing, the honourable thing, and convert, revert, to Islam — accepting the superiority of Islam over and above each and every way of the West.”

Muslims Offended By The Truth About Islam

Interesting..For once a college Professor tells the truth about Islam and the poor little "offended" Muslim students want him to be fired! We'll see how this one turns out -- but in the past tenure trumps all such attempts at job termination for outspoken college instructors. Moreover, I do believe there is something in the U.S. Constitution that says by law the Professor has the Freedom of Speech to say what he wants say about the filthy, corrupt, murdering, raping and totally degenerate religion of Islam.
The Muslim Students' Association called Monday for the university to issue a letter of reprimand.

They have met several times with university officials since February 28 and went public with the e-mail Monday because the school had not acted.

The student group also wants the university to implement diversity training programs for faculty and a mandatory freshman seminar on hate and discrimination.

The "terrible" anti-PC polemic of the Professor Wichman:
Dear Moslem Association:
As a professor of Mechanical Engineering here at MSU I intened to protest your protest. I am offended not by cartoons, but by more mundane things like beheadings of civilians, cowardly attacks on public buildings, suicide murders, murders of Catholic priests (the latest in Turkey!), burnings of Christian chirches, the continued persecution of Coptic Christians in Egypt, the imposition of Sharia law on non-Muslims, the rapes of Scandinavain girls and women (called "whores" in your culture), the murder of film directors in Holland, and the rioting and looting in Paris France.
This is what offends me, a soft-spoken person and academic, and many, many, many of my colleagues. I counsul you dissatisfied, agressive, brutal, and uncivilized slave-trading Moslems to be very aware of this as you proceed with your infantile "protests." If you do not like the values of the West -- see the 1st Ammendment -- you are free to leave. I hope for God's sake that most of you choose that option. Please return to your ancestral homelands and build them up yourselves instead of troubling Americans.
Cordially, I. S. Wichman, Professor of Mechanical Engineering

American Nationalism: An Ancient Relic Of Old?

Liberal/Multicultural Nation

by Bucktowndusty

Ah, nationalism. That ancient relic of old. Like dinosaurs and traditional families, it approaches extinction faster than CIA employee Mary McCarthy disclosing national security secrets to the Washington Post. To the liberal multiculturalist, nationalism is a dirty word. Nationalism hints to xenophobia. Xenophobia hints to self-righteous protectionism. Protectionism hints to superiority of America and liberal multiculturalists won't tolerate that lying down.
The biggest nation a liberal multiculturalist recognizes is the individual. So when it comes to national security secrets, they feel no shame in disclosing unfair secrets to the rest of the disenfranchised world. Any person of any nation with any motive should know everything about American advantage, no matter what. Where the conservative sees national security secrets, the liberal multiculturalist sees unfair advantage against the underprivileged individuals of the world. Self guilt and self hate from being American compulse them to show and tell even if showing and telling is a national crime. How can a liberal multiculturalist commit a national crime if they don't recognize nations?
I'm afraid that the only people left in America who believe in the notion of a nation are Minutemen, Tom Tancredo, and the conservative base of the Republican party. And since our own Republican leaders view us as vigilantes, how much time do we have left to enjoy the country we've always known and loved? Somewhere in America, a liberal multiculturalist has written the date down on his calendar and is marking off the days with big X's. Perhaps, before that day arives, I'll ask some American Indians the importance of national security, protectionism, and nationalism.
Comment: A Second Revolution anyone?

Iraq Selects A New Leader

Commentary by Robert Tracinski
The New Intellectual Magazine (TIA)
April 25, 2006

Who Is Jawad al-Maliki? Having forced out Muqtada al-Sadr front man Ibrahim al-Jaafari, Iraq's politicians have selected a new prime minister—but they selected him from Jaafari's own Islamist party. So will the new man, Jawad al-Maliki, support a crackdown on Shiite militias? His statements so far are equivocal, and his record doesn't look enormously promising, but information is so far is very sketchy.

Amir Taheri provides the most complete profile of Maliki I have seen yet, though Taheri can sometimes be too sanguine about "moderate" Islamists. It does look as if Maliki is less anti-American and less pro-Iranian than Jaafari—but probably not enough to vigorously suppress the militias. That's why we need to take the war to Iran, rather than trying to suppress the symptoms of Iranian aggression in Iraq.

"
Iraq's (Reluctant) New Leader," Amir Taheri, New York Post, April 24 Little is known about him outside a tiny circle of experts on Iraqi politics…. Al-Maliki has always tried to stay in the shadows. Just a few weeks ago, he was even thinking of distancing himself from active politics to focus on his literary projects.…

When still in secondary school in the 1970s, Al-Maliki joined the group led by the late Shiite philosopher Sahib Dakhil al-Najafi, who became a founder of the Al-Dawa….

[Maliki's] 20-year sojourn in Iran is marked by two major, and contradictory, features. First, he emerged as the leader of the party's most radical wing and the founder of its military branch, Jihadieh (The Holy Warriors). This was created by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard as one of several Iraqi Shiite militias Iran used in its long war against Saddam's Iraq.

Does that make al-Maliki an "Iranian candidate," as his enemies have suggested? No—in fact, throughout his time in Iran, al-Maliki was the leader of the "Arab branch" of al-Dawa—as opposed to its pro-Iranian branch.

In 2002, as the United States and its Coalition allies prepared for military intervention in Iraq, the party's pro-Iranian wing, led by al-Jaafari, totally ruled out any contact, let alone cooperation with the Americans. But al-Maliki's pro-Arab wing initiated just such contacts, first in Abu Dhabi and then in Washington. He then participated in the multiparty conference that discussed the future of Iraq in London. (Al-Jaafari boycotted.)

"The Canadians Are Here!"

After playing Hamlet since 9/11 - Our cousins of the Great Northland finally decide to throw "unwavering support" to the Global War On Terrorism.
Mike Blanchfield, The Ottawa CitizenPublished: Tuesday, April 11, 2006

While polls may show deep divisions within Canada over the deployment of 2,300 troops to Afghanistan, Canada's four political parties threw their unwavering support behind the mission during a special debate last night.

Defence Minister Gordon O'Connor, who opened the discussion, said it's in Canada's national security interest to confront terrorism abroad, citing the attacks in Bali, Indonesia, Madrid and London that followed the Sept. 11, 2001 attack on the United States
.
"Our security begins very far from our borders," said Mr. O'Connor. "Must we wait for terrorists to appear in Vancouver, Montreal or here in Ottawa?"

He said Canada would join its allies to "defeat the scourge of international terrorism."

The British National Party (BNP) Grows Stronger

I wonder if the "Tipping Point" has been reached in British politics with an increasingly angry and rebellious public in revolt against a multiculturist regime that seems bent on allowing the land of Shakespeare and Milton fall to the new barbarians of Islam?

Excellent article on the British National Party from No Dhimmitude:

BNP and the upcoming Brit elections.

There is upcoming a series of local elections in Britain. There is a chance the BNP will make some strong showing in the results. The BNP is claimed often by many to be a far Right extremist fascist racist party of thugs.Huh?The gnostic wankers of the British police state are suddenly finding themselves at a loss to explain why they're losing their traditional support, Labour finding their voters disgusted and willing to vote instead for labour. The English, no great democrats in practice, are finally realising that the world is going down and taking them with it; and the only way to save themselves, if they can, if they will, is to cut loose from the sinking Ship of State and find a lifeboat to live in. Good luck. With the majority of Brits so hooked on the dole it's unlikely they'd be able to beat the French out of bed in the morning if the place caught fire. And the fire is coming, washing over the waves, coming soon to a district near you. Will there be any islands left of sanity and sense?

The Leftist/Muslim/Illegal Immigrant Axis On The May Day March

Why am I not surprised? Birds of a feather....

MUSLIM AMERICANS TO JOIN 5/1 IMMIGRATION MARCHES NATIONWIDE
(Los Angeles - 4/19/06)
-- In solidarity with immigration activists around the country, the Muslim Public Affairs Council as well as the Council on American-Islamic Relations - Los Angeles (CAIR-LA), the Islamic Shura Council of Southern California, the L.A. Latino Muslim Association, the Muslim American Society - Los Angeles, and the Muslim Students Association - West (MSA West) are calling on American Muslims to participate in a day of action on May 1, 2006. On that day, the Multi-ethnic Immigrant Worker Organizing Network (MIWON) is holding a march near downtown Los Angeles in support of immigration reform and worker's rights. MPAC is coordinating Muslim American participation in this important event, which affects Americans of all ethnic, racial and religious backgrounds.
Similar events will be taking place across the country.
