Rove sees Blogs as key to GOP victory in 2006

Clearly the Blogsphere has risen as the most important Media spokesman for the conservative movement in America. This recognition by Rove of its importance in the publication of information and opinion favorable to Republican candidates is of a decisive nature, because in the past Republican candidates have suffered from biased treatment by the Old Leftist MSM. This is also recognition of the fact that more and more Americans are completely bypassing the Old Leftist Media MSM is favor of the New Media Rightist Blogsphere.

Internet media gets the nod in Rove's 2006 game plan White House strategist Karl Rove has determined media strategy for the 2006 congressional election campaign, and it focuses on one crucial element of the new media: the blogosphere. Republican Party sources said the strategy essentially shuns the mainstream media, which has been largely deemed as oriented to the Democrats. Instead, Mr. Rove has directed the GOP leadership to work with Internet sites, particularly bloggers, to help shape public opinion and set an agenda for political activists. "They will not be considered press, rather sophisticated political analysts who know how to focus on what's important."
