The lower house of Pakistan parliament was informed on Wednesday that 22 websites containing blasphemous caricatures had been blocked.
Minister In charge Cabinet Division Dr. Sher Afgan Niazi told the National Assembly in response to a question by Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (Opposition) lawmaker Dr. Farid Paracha, who wanted to know what measures had been taken against such websites.
The minister added in the written reply that on further information, more such websites, if any would be blocked.
