The day after tomorrow in Europe:
"The Hatred of the Angels," Jane Ahlam Scully's first novel, uses materials collected from her studies and life experiences. She began writing it the day Dutch film-maker, Theo Van Gogh, was murdered and completed it on 7 July 2005, the day London experienced its first Islamic terrorist attacks.
"The Hatred of the Angels" portrays a future Europe, one which has become the picture of a society that is fully consistent with Islam. She shows us just what that means. Speaking about the Europe of today in contrast to the Europe of the future that she presents, Jane Ahlam Scully said: "The future I am writing about is approaching us faster than I ever thought possible."
