Please let this just be a bad reality show....
New Rumsfeldian marching orders about this blog: leaner, quicker, deadlier. Less to read more often. What's the frequency, Kenneth? Four days a week for now, but hopefully soon: On the hour, every hour. Rant #1: Is there some White House rule that every political appointment has to be a castoff from "Jackass"?
In a story you haven't read in the print version of FLORIDA TODAY, the latest skank involves a 24-year-old tadpole named George Deutsch. This kid showcased his keen critical eye as a Texas A&M Battalion columnist where, in 2003, he asserted things like "The defense's main theory that a Satanic cult killed Laci (Peterson) is actually quite credible" and "The ties between al-Qaida and Iraq are clear."
After interning with the Bush-Cheney re-election campaign, the kid got his apple at NASA's media office in Washington. Without any parental controls, he instructed an agency Web designer to insert "theory" to all references to the Big Bang. "This is more than a science issue," declared Deutsch's e-mail, "it is a religious issue."
Deutsch's antics clinched it for veteran NASA climatologist James Hansen, who went public with the New York Times last month about how Deutsch and other NASA political appointees were attempting to control the flow of global-warming information. The fiasco forced director Mike Griffin to warn employees not to "alter, filter or adjust" engineering or scientific material.
Fortunately, thanks to a little digging by a contributor to scientificactivist.blogspot.com -- a blog, not mainstream media! Yippee! -- we now know that Deutsch lied on his resume, and got canned for getting caught.
Somebody tell me this is part of a reality-show about quality control called "Brownied!" Lie to me. Please.

The "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy" at work again under "New Rumsfeldian marching orders" and leading the charge is young Republican by the name of George Deutsch.
In Billy's world view, a world view not held by the majority of Americans, nutburger MSM (Mainstream Media) theories like Global Warming, Bush is Evil and no ties between Al Qaeda and Saddam's Iraq are far removed from the axiom (An axiom is a self evident fact that requires no proof) that they are to the Left.
What is Deutsch's real sin in Billy's Leftist-Hippie double vision? (1) A conservative Republican Texas A&M columist. (2) Intern with the Bush-Cheney campaign. (3) He directed that the "Big Bang Theory" be labeled "The Big Bang Theory" on the NASA website. (4) He makes more money than Billy.
Billy says that Deutsch was "outed" by NASA climatologist James Hansen, a volunteer and contributor for the Kerry campaign, "who went public with the New York Times last month" as indeed do all those Leftists in the government who leak classified information on a daily basis they think will discredit the Bush Administration. Billy goes on to say that as a result of this "heroic" effort on the part of Hansen, the fiasco forced director Mike Griffin to warn employees not to "alter, filter or adjust" engineering or scientific material.
Fair enough. The facts speak for themselves: "Global Warming" is only a religious theory like a "thousand and one angels dance on the the tip of a pin" and "Repent! The End is Near."
James Schlesinger relates in THE WALL STREET JOURNAL on Saturday, August 13, 2005 that: It was Michael Crichton who pointed out in his Commonwealth Club lecture some years ago that environmentalism had become the religion of Western elites. Indeed it has. Most notably, the burning of fossil fuels (a concomitant of economic growth and rising living standards) is the secular counterpart of man's Original Sin. If only we would repent and sin no more, mankind's actions could end the threat of further global warming. By implication, the cost, which is never fully examined, is bearable. So far the evidence is not convincing.
Anyhow, young Deutsch was fired from his position for allegedly puffing up his resume, according to THE NEW YORK TIMES and Billy Cox, which translated into objective reality may not have actually happened. I mean how can you believe anything from a guy who gets his information from the ulta leftist NYT, gets paid by a member in good standing of the MSM, and may have "Puffed Up" his own resume to the Personnel Office at FLORIDA TODAY ?
I seriously doubt if Billy Cox was ever a Young Republican.
