A Northwest Career and Technical Academy teacher is accused of denying the Holocaust happened and telling students that the Nazis lacked the technology to kill so many Jews, one senior said.

Jewish students said the teacher's comments have circulated widely and have created a poisonous atmosphere at the public school, which has led other students to make anti-Semitic jokes and threats against them.

One such threat is being investigated by Clark County School District police as a possible hate crime, district officials and involved students and parents confirmed on Thursday.

The investigation involves a text message sent to multiple students that said: "Men are supposed to act like men and not be pansy asses ... only girls are allowed to be that way you slut(t)y Jews ... Please feel free to (forward message) or I will slit your throats personally ... And yes I'm related to Hitler."

Lori Sublette, the teacher accused of denying the Holocaust, has not apologized to students for her comments, said 17-year-old Katie Piranio, a student in Sublette's "advocacy class," a weekly course intended to prepare teens for life after high school.

When the Review-Journal reached Sublette on Thursday and asked if she had denied the Holocaust happened, the teacher did not answer the question.

"I would have to talk to my principal (Frank Pesce)," Sublette said. "I'm not in the position to respond to anything like this."

District spokesman Michael Rodriguez said disciplinary action is being taken against the teacher but would not provide details, saying the issue is a "personnel matter."

Outraged parents are criticizing both school and district officials for what they view as a "cowardly" and blasé response to the incident at the campus on West Tropical Parkway, near Durango Drive.

Piranio said the teacher originally made the comments on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Students were discussing ways to decorate the classroom door for a holiday contest.

The discussion went off on a tangent when a student brought up the Holocaust. The World War II genocide is estimated to have killed more than 6 million European Jews and millions of Gypsies, homosexuals and other religious and ethnic minorities.

Students said Sublette disputed much of what is known about the Holocaust.

"It was ridiculous what she was saying," Piranio said. "I was afraid to challenge her, because she was so into what she was saying."

Piranio said Sublette told students that history textbooks have inaccurate information and Holocaust photographs were doctored or distorted. She also said Sublette said in class that some Holocaust photographs were actually taken during an earlier time period in Russia.

After Piranio's father complained to school officials, Sublette called him to apologize, but only for giving her "opinion" in class, Katie Piranio said.

As a matter of district policy, teachers are not supposed to speak about subjects outside their expertise. Sublette is a full-time gym teacher with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from the University of Washington and a master's degree from Arizona's Grand Canyon University, according to the school's Web site.

Sublette was in her classroom when the Review-Journal called her Thursday. Students said she is still teaching.

While one parent said he did not think the school was trying to "pooh-pooh" the issue, others were outraged.

"Let's wake up," said Ilana Levinsky, whose daughter is in Sublette's gym class. "I don't think she needs to be teaching.

"The last thing we need is another (Mahmoud) Ahmadinejad teaching in the Clark County school system," said Levinsky, referring to the Iranian president who disputes the Holocaust happened.

Phyllis Friedman, regional director for the Anti-Defamation League of Nevada, said Las Vegas is home to many Holocaust survivors and their children. Friedman said the city has a progressive reputation in educating the public about the genocide.

Friedman was unaware of the allegations against the Northwest Career and Technical Academy teacher until Thursday.

"I hope to all get-out it's not true," she said. "Unfortunately, Holocaust deniers are out there, much to my amazement."

Nobel Peace Prize winner Elie Wiesel spoke out Thursday about his losses in disgraced financier Bernard Madoff's Ponzi scheme, saying that he was not bitter about losing his personal investments and millions of dollars of his foundation's money.

The Holocaust survivor, who at Chabad's invitation was visiting in Hungary for the first time since the end of the Second World War, said he was grateful for hundreds of donations that have helped his Foundation for Humanity stay active. The foundation promotes tolerance and equality to youth.

"It was heartwarming to see the response and, of course, we have decided not to give in," Wiesel said. "I decided I will not to let anyone destroy what I have done with my life ... I am not bitter."

Wiesel said he does not expect to recover any of the lost money.

The writer met with Hungarian President Laszlo Solyom and Prime Minister Gordon Bajnai, and urged Hungary to legally ban Holocaust denial.

He also called on Hungary to consider laws to curb hate speech as "extremist voices become ever louder," the local news agency MTI reported.

Hungary's far right increased in prominence in June when the nationalist party Jobbik won three seats in Brussels with almost 15 per cent of the national vote in the European Union elections.

"It must be made clear to the whole of society that racist, anti-Semitic expressions are unacceptable," Wiesel told reporters.

Several attempts in the past few years to toughen laws against hate speech and a push by the government in April to amend the Constitution to make Holocaust denial a crime have failed in parliament or have been rejected by the courts, mainly because of fears about restricting free speech.

Wiesel also said he had received a pledge from Bajnai to allow access to historical archives thought to include lists of the Hungarian Jews who were deported to Auschwitz during World War II. Some 550,000 Hungarian Jews were killed during the Holocaust.

"I would like to see the list about the Jews from Maramarosziget, my hometown," Wiesel said, using the Hungarian name of Sighetu Marmatie, a Romanian town that was part of Hungary until World War I and again, for a few years, in the 1940s. "The list must be somewhere in Budapest."

The previous day, Wiesel discussed Jewish-Hungarian relations in a symposium in the Hungarian parliament.

In 1944, at the age of 15, Wiesel was one of thousands of Jews transported to Nazi death camps from a Romanian town then known as Sighet, which was under Hungarian rule at the time.

Wiesel has written dozens of books, of which his best known, "Night", deals with his experience of the Holocaust. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1983.

BRITAIN appears to be evolving into the first modern soft totalitarian state. As a sometime teacher of political science and international law, I do not use the term totalitarian loosely.

There are no concentration camps or gulags but there are thought police with unprecedented powers to dictate ways of thinking and sniff out heresy, and there can be harsh punishments for dissent.

Nikolai Bukharin claimed one of the Bolshevik Revolution's principal tasks was "to alter people's actual psychology". Britain is not Bolshevik, but a campaign to alter people's psychology and create a new Homo britannicus is under way without even a fig leaf of disguise.

The Government is pushing ahead with legislation that will criminalise politically incorrect jokes, with a maximum punishment of up to seven years' prison. The House of Lords tried to insert a free-speech amendment, but Justice Secretary Jack Straw knocked it out. It was Straw who previously called for a redefinition of Englishness and suggested the "global baggage of empire" was linked to soccer violence by "racist and xenophobic white males". He claimed the English "propensity for violence" was used to subjugate Ireland, Scotland and Wales, and that the English as a race were "potentially very aggressive".

In the past 10 years I have collected reports of many instances of draconian punishments, including the arrest and criminal prosecution of children, for thought-crimes and offences against political correctness.

Countryside Restoration Trust chairman and columnist Robin Page said at a rally against the Government's anti-hunting laws in Gloucestershire in 2002: "If you are a black vegetarian Muslim asylum-seeking one-legged lesbian lorry driver, I want the same rights as you." Page was arrested, and after four months he received a letter saying no charges would be pressed, but that: "If further evidence comes to our attention whereby your involvement is implicated, we will seek to initiate proceedings." It took him five years to clear his name.

Page was at least an adult. In September 2006, a 14-year-old schoolgirl, Codie Stott, asked a teacher if she could sit with another group to do a science project as all the girls with her spoke only Urdu. The teacher's first response, according to Stott, was to scream at her: "It's racist, you're going to get done by the police!" Upset and terrified, the schoolgirl went outside to calm down. The teacher called the police and a few days later, presumably after officialdom had thought the matter over, she was arrested and taken to a police station, where she was fingerprinted and photographed. According to her mother, she was placed in a bare cell for 3 1/2 hours. She was questioned on suspicion of committing a racial public order offence and then released without charge. The school was said to be investigating what further action to take, not against the teacher, but against Stott. Headmaster Anthony Edkins reportedly said: "An allegation of a serious nature was made concerning a racially motivated remark. We aim to ensure a caring and tolerant attitude towards pupils of all ethnic backgrounds and will not stand for racism in any form."

A 10-year-old child was arrested and brought before a judge, for having allegedly called an 11-year-old boya "Paki" and "bin Laden" during a playground argument at a primary school (the other boy had called him a skunk and a Teletubby). When it reached the court the case had cost taxpayers pound stg. 25,000. The accused was so distressed that he had stopped attending school. The judge, Jonathan Finestein, said: "Have we really got to the stage where we are prosecuting 10-year-old boys because of political correctness? There are major crimes out there and the police don't bother to prosecute. This is nonsense."

Finestein was fiercely attacked by teaching union leaders, as in those witch-hunt trials where any who spoke in defence of an accused or pointed to defects in the prosecution were immediately targeted as witches and candidates for burning.

Hate-crime police investigated Basil Brush, a puppet fox on children's television, who had made a joke about Gypsies. The BBC confessed that Brush had behaved inappropriately and assured police that the episode would be banned.

A bishop was warned by the police for not having done enough to "celebrate diversity", the enforcing of which is now apparently a police function. A Christian home for retired clergy and religious workers lost a grant because it would not reveal to official snoopers how many of the residents were homosexual. That they had never been asked was taken as evidence of homophobia.

Muslim parents who objected to young children being given books advocating same-sex marriage and adoption at one school last year had their wishes respected and the offending material withdrawn. This year, Muslim and Christian parents at another school objecting to the same material have not only had their objections ignored but have been threatened with prosecution if they withdraw their children.

There have been innumerable cases in recent months of people in schools, hospitals and other institutions losing their jobs because of various religious scruples, often, as in the East Germany of yore, not shouted fanatically from the rooftops but betrayed in private conversations and reported to authorities. The crime of one nurse was to offer to pray for a patient, who did not complain but merely mentioned the matter to another nurse. A primary school receptionist, Jennie Cain, whose five-year-old daughter was told off for talking about Jesus in class, faces the sack for seeking support from her church. A private email from her to other members of the church asking for prayers fell into the hands of school authorities.

Permissiveness as well as draconianism can be deployed to destroy socially accepted norms and values. The Royal Navy, for instance, has installed a satanist chapel in a warship to accommodate the proclivities of a satanist crew member. "What would Nelson have said?" is a British newspaper cliche about navy scandals, but in this case seems a legitimate question. Satanist paraphernalia is also supplied to prison inmates who need it.

This campaign seems to come from unelected or quasi-governmental bodies controlling various institutions, which are more or less unanswerable to electors, more than it does directly from the Government, although the Government helps drive it and condones it in a fudged and deniable manner.

Any one of these incidents might be dismissed as an aberration, but taken together - and I have only mentioned a tiny sample; more are reported almost every day - they add up to a pretty clear picture.

ADL Hails House Approval Of Hate Crime Legislation

New York, NY, April 29, 2009 … Calling it an "essential and necessary step forward in the national effort to counter hate crimes," the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) today hailed the approval of long delayed legislation to update and expand federal hate crimes laws by the U.S. House of Representatives, and urged the Senate to follow suit.

The measure, H.R. 1913, the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009, was approved by a vote of 249-175.

We welcome House approval of the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act as an essential and necessary step forward in the national effort to counter hate crimes.

Hate crimes tear at the fabric of our society and fragment communities. It is crucial that mechanisms are in place for law enforcement to respond effectively when they occur, and for federal authorities to provide assistance when appropriate.

With the House vote, and the continued strong support of President Obama and Attorney General Holder, we have our best chance ever to secure enactment in this Congress. We urge the Senate to promptly follow the House in approving this bill.

For more than 10 years, ADL has led a broad coalition of civil rights, religious, educational, law enforcement and civic organizations working in support of the legislation.

The bill would permit the Justice Department to assist local hate crime prosecutions and, where appropriate, to investigate and prosecute hate crimes in which the victim is targeted because of race, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, or disability.

State and local authorities investigate and prosecute the overwhelming majority of hate crime cases. But this legislation will provide a necessary backstop – by permitting federal authorities to provide assistance in these hate crime investigations and by allowing federal prosecutions when state and local authorities are unable or unwilling to act.

Forty-five states and the District of Columbia have passed hate crime statutes, many based on model legislation drafted by ADL. The League has been a pioneer in drafting and promoting tough and effective hate crimes laws across the country.

Jewish groups urge hate crime bill passage

The Jewish Council for Public Affairs has sent letters to all 435 members of the House of Representatives urging support of the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act, which would permit greater federal involvement in investigating hate crimes and expand the federal definition of such crimes to include those motivated by gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and disability.

JCPA also joined the Anti-Defamaation League, the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism and the National Council of Jewish Women and six other civil rights organizations in a coalition backing the bill.

The legislation was approved by the House Judiciary Committee this week and is expected to face a vote in the full House next week. The bill, which supporters have been pushing for a decade, has previously been attached to other legislation and passed both houses of Congress, but has been eliminated in conference committees. With Obama supporting the bill, backers are hoping for a change this year.

The JCPA letter states that the legislation would "ensure that justice is pursued even when local authorities are unable or unwilling to do so independently. JCPA believes that while states should continue to play the primary role in the prosecutions of hate crime violence, the federal government must be able to address cases when local authorities are either unable or unwilling to fully pursue justice."

Toben issues "apology", says he will "submit to censorship"

A man who breached Federal Court orders to remove website material which denied the holocaust has issued a written apology.

Fredrick Toben, 65, was found guilty of 24 charges of contempt for breaching orders not to publish material vilifying Jewish people on his Adelaide Institute website.

At a hearing in Adelaide on the penalty he should receive, Toben said he would submit to censorship.

He provided a written apology through his lawyer.

The court heard Toben had previously said he would rather go to jail on principle than pay a fine.

But Toben told the court he unreservedly apologised for his breaches of court orders and would not withdraw his apology as he had in the past.

Judge Bruce Lander said it was clear Toben did not have the money to pay a fine or the legal costs of the senior member of Australia's Jewish community, Jeremy Jones, who instigated the proceedings.

But Judge Lander expressed concern Toben could breach the orders again if he felt he had been provoked.

The judge said Toben did not seem to understand that the case was not scrutinising his beliefs or determining whether the holocaust happened.

The court will impose a sentence later.

Austrian Holocaust Denier™ Gerd Honsik sentenced to five years in prison

Notorious Austrian Holocaust denier Gerd Honsik was sentenced to five years in prison Monday by a Vienna court that found him guilty of spreading National Socialist ideology.

While living in Spain from the early 1990s to evade a previous Austrian prison sentence, the neo-Nazi had continued to publish National Socialist ideology in a magazine and other venues.

"He is one of the ideological leaders of the neo-Nazi scene," prosecutor Stefan Apostol said Friday, alleging that Honsik had also passed out his publications at schools.

Both the prosecution and the defendant plan to appeal the verdict and sentence, Austrian press agency APA reported.

The 67-year-old defendant said he rejects "the doctrine which demonizes National Socialism," but claimed he was not a National Socialist himself.

Honsik, who wrote the book Acquittal for Hitler? in 1988, defended himself by arguing that he did not deny the existence of all the gas chambers in Nazi concentration camps.

After his lawyer, Herbert Schaller, pointed out that it was not Honsik but "fine and righteous foreigners" who had first denied the existence of gas chambers, the prosecutor said he would consider whether to also indict Schaller under Austria's law banning National Socialist activities.

In 1992, an Austrian court passed an 18-month prison term against Honsik for denying the crimes committed by Hitler's regime. Before starting his sentence, Honsik fled to Spain, but he was eventually extradited in 2007.

Another prominent Holocaust denier, the British writer David Irving, received a sentence of two years in prison and one year of probation from Austrian courts in 2006.

Prague - The Czech police arrested David Duke, former leader of the Ku Klux Klan racist movement, in Prague today on suspicion of promotion of movements seeking suppression of human rights, Prague police spokesman told CTK.

Arriving in the Czech Republic at the invitation of local neo-Nazis, Duke was to give lectures in Prague and Brno.

Duke, a U.S. citizen, is suspected of denying or approving of the Nazi genocide and other Nazi crimes. This crime is punishable by up to three years in prison in the Czech Republic.

According to an Internet text signed by Filip Vavra, who is linked to the neo-Nazi National Resistance group, Duke has visited the Czech Republic in order to promote his book My Awakening.

Czech lawyer Klara Kalibova said some passages of the book can be interpreted as an effort at justifying or challenging the Holocaust.

Czech police are reportedly focusing on the book as well.

Duke was to give three lectures in the Czech Republic. The first was to take place at Prague's Charles University, but the university has banned it.

The other two lectures were to be held in the centre of Prague on Saturday and in Brno, capital of Moravia, on Sunday, according to the website presenting Duke's visit.

Some Czech politicians assessed Duke's visit negatively earlier this week. Disapproving stand in this respect has been expressed by Interior Minister.

Prague - The Czech police today released David Duke, former leader of the Ku Klux Klan racist movement, in the early hours, accused him of promotion of movements suppressing human rights, and ordered him to leave the country by midnight, Duke's lawyer Klara Slamova told CTK.

Slamova said she would file the complaint against the police procedure concerning Duke.

Prague police spokesman Jan Mikulovsky confirmed that Duke was released.

WASHINGTON – US President Barack Obama spoke at a Holocaust Remembrance Day event at the US Capitol Thursday, and said he was committed to battling those who deny the atrocities of World War II.

The annual ceremony was held by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.

"To this day, there are those who insist the Holocaust never happened, who perpetrate every form of intolerance," the president said. "We have an opportunity as well as an obligation to confront these scourges… That is my commitment as president."

He added, "How do we ensure that 'never again' isn't an empty slogan or merely an aspiration, but also a call to action? I believe we start by doing what we are doing today – by bearing witness, by fighting the silence that is evil's greatest co-conspirator."

Obama also mentioned his visit to Yad Vashem and said that the nation of Israel had risen "from the destruction of the Holocaust." [occult phoenix reference?]

The US president's speech follows that of his Iranian counterpart, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, at the UN conference on racism in Geneva earlier this week. Among other things, the Holocaust-denying leader accused Israel of rendering a nation homeless as well as of cruelty and racism.

In his speech, Israeli Ambassador Sallai Meridor compared the Nazi atrocities to the Iranian threat, explaining that the regime was detrimental to world peace and threatening to destroy Israel. He also thanked the US for its friendship.

Author Elie Wiesel, who founded Washington's Holocaust Museum, also expressed concern over the Iranian threat, while recounteing his experience at the UN conference in Geneva.

"Will the world ever learn?" he asked, adding that a prominent leader had taken advantage of a UN forum in order to do harm to Israel. "Why was he invited?" the writer asked.

Weisel said the world "would never learn" because "if Auschwitz could not cure the world of anti-Semitism, what will?"

Austrian writer Gerd Honsik on trial for denying Holocaust™ Hoax, faces 20 years imprisonment

VIENNA – An Austrian writer has gone on trial for allegedly defending and promoting aspects of the Nazi era and publicly denying the Holocaust.

Gerd Honsik faces up to 20 years' imprisonment if convicted of denying the occurrence of the Nazis' systematic slaughter of 6 million Jews during World War II.

The 68-year-old author also was being tried on charges of promoting Nazi propaganda. Both are crimes in Austria.

Honsik wrote a book, "Hitler Innocent?," in which he attempted to justify some Nazi-era crimes. He was originally convicted in 1992 but fled to Spain, where authorities arrested him in October 2007.

Honsik went on trial Monday in Vienna on new charges for articles he allegedly wrote and circulated on the Internet.

HOLOCAUST revisionist Fredrick Toben has been found guilty of criminal contempt after defying orders to stop publishing racist material on his Adelaide Institute website.

In a judgment in the Federal Court today, Justice Bruce Lander said Dr Toben's conduct had been wilful and he had steadfastly refused to comply with the law.

"The courts have held, but his conduct shows he does not accept that the freedom of speech citizens of this country enjoy does not include the freedom to publish material calculated to offend, insult or humiliate or intimidate people because of their race, colour or national or ethnic origin," Justice Lander said.

"It is conduct that amounts to criminal contempt."

Dr Toben had pleaded not guilty to 28 counts of contempt arising from allegations from former president of the Executive Council of Australian Jewry, Jeremy Jones.

Mr Jones first lodged a complaint with the Human Rights and Equal Opportunities Commission in 1996 and later applied to the Federal Court to uphold its ruling, which it did in 2002.

But in hearings last year, counsel for Mr Jones, Robin Margo SC, told the court Dr Toben had defied its orders for six years.

Mr Margo said the Adelaide Institute website was still publishing, (in July 2008), "virulent anti-semitic material", including that there were no death gas chambers at the Auschwitz concentration camp and that the holocaust was "the world's filthiest blood libel".

He urged the court to fine Dr Toben, or impose a period of imprisonment if he could not pay.

You were right. Our asylum claim has been denied, as has witholding of removal. We were thinking of appealing and sticking it out, but really this place is replete with people hanging on hoping for a miracle that's never going to happen, and we don't want to join them.

Our barrister told us when he visited to testify for us that this immigration judge, Rose Peters, has granted asylum to an IRA murderer who had killed two policemen, supposedly on political grounds, so that's the level of hypocrisy we're up against. Better we think to go back to England, face the music, and get it over with.

The ground for refusing asylum was that our prosecution in the UK did not constitute persecution (i.e. the government attorney and the IJ, both women, agree with it. The government attorney even argued against the First Amendment.) I believe that because this is a subjective assessment it is quite difficult to appeal against, and we could spend years taking it through various courts.

Race-hate pair rejected by US

Two racists convicted of publishing racially inflammatory material on the internet have been refused asylum in America and will be returned to Britain to serve their sentences.

Simon Sheppard and Stephen Whittle fled to the United States during a trial at Leeds Crown Court last year. The jury had returned 11 verdicts of guilty out of 18 counts when the men jumped bail, travelled to Ireland and then flew to Los Angeles, where they claimed political asylum. It was the first prosecution of race hate on the internet.

The pair claimed they had been the victims of a “three-year campaign of harassment” by the government.

They have been held in Santa Ana prison in California since their arrival and now immigration judge Rosa Peters, in a reserved judgement, has told them that their applications have been refused.

The expectation was that the pair would draw out the process by lodging appeals to the decision.

But in a letter published on the website of the extreme right wing British People’s Party, Sheppard, 52, from Selby in Yorkshire, revealed that they will come home to “face the music.

Sheppard wrote: “We were thinking of appealing and sticking it out, but really this place is replete with people hanging on hoping for a miracle that's never going to happen and we don't want to join them. Better we think to go back to England, face the music and get it over with.”

The Crown Prosecution Service decided to hold a retrial for Sheppard in absentia on the counts on which the jury did not reach verdicts and in January, he was found guilty of a further five counts, making 16 in all. Whittle, 41, from Preston in Lancashire, was found guilty on all five counts with which he was charged. The pair are due to be sentenced at Leeds Crown Court on May 15.

An investigation into their activities started after a pamphlet called “Tales of the Holohoax” was pushed through the door of Blackpool Reform Synagogue while another copy was sent to a Jewish academic.

Some of the material was also published on Sheppard’s websites, for which Whittle wrote articles under the pen-name Luke O’Farrell. They were charged with three different offences of publishing racially inflammatory material; distributing racially inflammable material and possessing racially inflammable material with a view to distribution.

ATHENS (EJP)---The Greek Jewish community said Friday it was “shocked” after neo-Nazi militant Kostas Plevris, who wrote a book denying the Holocaust and containing offensive references to Jews, was acquitted by an Appeals court in Athens.

Plevris was found not guilty of “incitement to racial hatred and violence against the Jews” by the 5-member court.

In a reaction, the Central Board of Jewish Communities in Greece (KIS) expressed its “disappointment and amazement at the decision of the Athens court.

"This decision saddens and causes concern among citizens of a modern democratic society as a self-confessed advocate of Nazism and racism remains unpunished though he not only distorts proven historical evidence, but even worse, uses his pen to incite hatred and provoke discrimination and violence against citizens of Greece and Europe," the Central Board said.

“The Greek Jewry believes that the fundamental constitutional right of freedom of speech has nothing to do with the direct threats, insults and incitement to racial hatred and violence against the Jews that Plevris includes in his book" titled “Jews-The whole truth” .

Plevris had been convicted in first instance in December 2007 and condemned to 14 months of imprisonment on probation for three years for “racial insult”, “incitement to hatred and racial violence” on the basis of the 1979 anti-racist law.

At the time, the Jewish community saw the trial as a key test of the Greek authorities' determination to deal with anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial in a country where anti-Semitic literature such as the infamous “Protocols of the elders of Zion” is on sale in bookshops.

The charges against Plevris were also brought by the Helsinki Monitor and the “Anti-Nazi Initiative” organization, two human right Greek NGO's.

He immediately appealed the sentence.

According to Moses Constantinis, the Appeals court prosecutor characterized Plevris's defamatory book – which denies the Holocaust, calls the Jews “sub-human” and threatens them with the “re-opening of the crematoria in Auschwitz- a “scientific work”. [emphasis added]

To express the resentment of the Greek Jews, the Jewish umbrella body has decided not to be represented at the European symposium “Building together the Future of Europe” which will be held next Monday in Brussels, “given that theoretical analysis and statements made by Greek MEPs on the denunciation and condemnation of anti-Semitism are meaningless”.

Around 6,000 Jews live in Greece.

I am sending this at the last moment.

After this I shall no longer have opportunity to address the public, so I am using this opportunity to briefly explain once more what is really at stake here.

I am now being sentenced and I shall be imprisoned immediately.

Many of my supporters disapprove of what I have done. They ask me: "Why are you doing this?"

{As part of the growing civil disobedience movement in Germany, Mahler had filed charges against himself for "Holocaust Denial."} Some of my supporters point out that I would be more effective on the outside than the inside of prison.

They say the government will now put me away and no benefit will come from it.

I explain to them that they are considering the matter from the wrong point of view.

The most important issue is no longer the fact that the present regime has taken away our right of free speech! This state has always had the power to do that, in any number of ways, regardless of whether one is expressing an opinion.. Something greater than the right to utter dissident remarks is at stake here.

If one realizes, as I do, that the "Holocaust" Religion is the principal weapon for the moral and cultural destruction of the German nation, then it is clear that what is at stake here is nothing less than the collective right of self-defense, that is, Germany's right to survive.

Survival affects everyone!

Does the world really believe that we Germans will unresistingly allow ourselves to be destroyed as a Volk, that we will passively allow our national spirit to be extinguished without a struggle?

What kind of jurists argue that self-defense is a criminal act?

As a Volk and a living collective entity we have a national and a spiritual nature.

The surest way to extinguish Germany as a spiritual entity is to destroy our national soul and identity, so that we no longer know who or what we are.

Destroying our national spirit is precisely the intent of our enemy in demanding that we unquestioningly accept his alien "Holocaust" dogma and desist from pointing out that his fantastic "Holocaust" never happened. There is no evidence of it!

Once we realize that we are faced with the threat of annihilation, we no longer have doubts about who our enemy is: it is the ancient murderer of nations.

Once we realize this, we no longer passively listen to the enemy's lies and misrepresentations. We look for a weapon and a way protect our Germany, to deprive the enemy of the power he has over us. Lo and behold, we have the only weapon we need to protect ourselves from annihilation. We have he truth.

"The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth!"

A rather unusual aspect of my life history is that I entered politics from the left of the political spectrum, by way of the Red Army Faction (RAF).

{Mahler's critics never tire of stressing this political transition, although the definitions of "left" and "right" have changed drastically in the last twenty-five years.

These critics would do well to consider Ralph Waldo Emerson's aphorism "A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds." A wise man learns new things as he goes through life and changes his ideas accordingly.} Briefly stated, the RAF took the path of armed struggle against "the System" as it was called in those days.

The idea that motivated us to take the path of armed struggle was our belief in "Holocaust." We actually believed what "the System" had taught us in school and what was constantly proclaimed in the enemy-controlled media. Like others in the RAF, I believed this anti German propaganda. As the American culture bringers say, "I bought it." I truly believed it as I sought a way to break out of the unbearable guilt complex associated with the "murder of six million Jews." I cannot go into the details of this period of my life here -- the point to be made is that I was a "true believer" in "Holocaust" when I was young.

In 2001, in the course of my career as attorney, I was asked to defend a musical patriot. This was the singer Frank Rennicke, who had been convicted and sentenced in the lower courts for "Holocaust Denial." My response to his request was: "Of course I will defend you!"

The task of defending Frank made it necessary for me to investigate all the facts, evidence and allegations connected with "Holocaust." This is what my investigations revealed: There is no supporting evidence for the fantastic allegations of "Holocaust!" There are only proclamations released by the victors' tribunal at Nuremberg to the effect that such an event occurred and was sufficiently "investigated." With his proverbial chutzpah our enemy tells us: "No other event in all history has been as thoroughly investigated as 'Holocaust.'" [The same chutzpah leads the enemy to claim that the huge amounts of insecticide Germany used to protect the health of internees during World War II were used to murder Jews!] If we examine the actual facts, we discover that it is all a lie.

It is atrocity propaganda that is still being disseminated, 65 years after Germany's defeat. When the servile Bundesgericht (German High Court) declares that a thousand "eyewitnesses" support the "proven event," it is another bald-faced lie!

Our so-called Bundesgericht (High Court) understands perfectly well that our so-called Bundesrepublik (Federal Republic) is not a sovereign state and therefore not a legitimate government. Prof. Carlo Schmid, the internationally recognized expert on international law and author of our Grundgesetz (Basic Law), stated clearly that the Federal Republic is not a valid state. In a speech he gave on the occasion of its creation in 1949, he specifically describes it as an "Organisationsform einer Modalität der Fremdherrschaft" (Organizational Form of a Modality of Foreign Rule), that is to say, a vehicle for domination by our enemies. Prof. Schmid invented composed this diplomatic expression to avoid using the term "puppet government." Our Basic Law was not written by a convention of elected representatives and it was not approved by plebiscite. Enemy occupiers imposed it on us and it does not meet the prerequisites for a legitimate state. Since the Federal Republic is not a legitimate state, the institutions and stipulations that our enemiues forced upon us are likewise not legitimate under international law.

It is clear that the victors or victor of World War II (the only real victor was world Jewry) took great pains to assure that the basis for Jewish domination, namely the religious cult of "Holocaust," would be legalistically unassailable. This was their intent when they created the Federal Republic, and it is clear that the High Court long ago adopted a judicature designed to perpetuate "Holocaust." The mission to protect "Holocaust" lies at the heart of both the Federal Republic and the Basic Law. This is the basis of Germany's domination by its enemies.

Germany's foreign minister Joschka Fischer explained this very clearly when he referred to "Holocaust" and sponsorship of Israel as the raison d'etre of the Federal Republic.

What is happening now is nothing other than the destruction of the moral foundation of our Volk through genocidal assault on our national soul. There is nothing surprising about this.

We would have to consider our enemies really stupid, especially our most powerful and dangerous enemy, if he did not take decisive measures to maintain domination over us. Our enemies did not launch World War II against us in order to abandon their war aims after the inevitable victory of their overpowering resources of numbers and materiel. They went to great lengths to avoid giving us the possibility of exonerating ourselves ourselves from the Great Lie through authentic trials conducted by a professional and independent judiciary. Our greatest enemy is not stupid!

He took painstaking precautions, and he is all too familiar with elaborate methods to assure compliance with his peculiar brand of "justice."

No one who perceives that our enemy is still perpetrating genocide against us as part of his war aims can expect a German to obey the proscription against questioning "Holocaust." No one can expect that a German who wants to be German will not object to this assault against our nation. This assault is nothing less than cultural genocide, and it threatens us all.

If possible, I ask you to dare to imagine what necessarily follows from this, if it is really the case. What a wretched excuse for a human being I would be if I, knowing of this threat to our nation in all its implications, would keep quiet and sink back in my easy chair and just wait for the day when the truth would come to light of its own accord! Every German has an obligation to do his duty to the Fatherland!

We have a right and sacred to defend ourselves, to preserve our nation and our Volk! In every civilized country, there is a legal obligation to come to the aid of those who are in danger. In fact, the law prescribes punishments for those who fail to render aid.

Failure to assist and render aid is a serious violation of law; it constitutes a corpus delicti in itself. I would be guilty of a serious crime if I failed to render aid to my Volk - if I kept quiet and failed to come to its aid, knowing that the monstrous fraud called "Holocaust" did not really occur. In that case, I would be a truly depraved criminal!.

In the present situation, it would be pointless for me to plod along and attempt to gain a majority in this or that political party, or to found a new and independent party that would somehow make its way through our corrupt and labyrinthine parliament to repeal genocidal anti-German laws. Working alone, my only course of action is to continue doing what I have done. Relying on myself alone, I can do nothing except repeat the truth over and over again. I have sworn a sacred oath that can be read on the Internet, our only source of uncensored information, that I will never desist from repeating this truth: "Holocaust" is a lie, and so is the claim that it has been "proven." There is no supporting evidence.

In his undaunted defense of the Christian faith, the traditionalist Bishop Richard Williamson recently stated the same truth that I discovered long ago.

In the Rennicke case I was professionally obligated to investigate the evidence of "Holocaust" and it turned out that no such evidence exists. After reviewing several similar trials, we were able to produce a letter written by a professor of contemporary history, Prof. Gerhard Jagschitz of Vienna, whose research had also led to the conclusion that there is no evidence to support "Holocaust." When I contacted him he said: "Yes, of course, we already know that." Prof. Jagschitz had been commissioned by the court as an expert witness to determine whether "Holocaust" is "manifestly obvious" as an actual event of contemporary history. He spent three years researching all the available literature concerning "Holocaust" in order to determine the actual truth. After these three years he informed the court that he could no longer defend his original assumption in support of the validity of "Holocaust." He arrived at the emphatic conclusion that, within the guidelines of a society of laws, it is not permissible to use the "manifest self-evidence" of "Holocaust" as a basis for sentencing those found guilty of questioning it. In those days it was Prof. Jagschitz and now it is Bishop Williamson, and soon there will be many other prominent persons who arrive at this same conclusion.

Self-defense is an inalienable right. As a German who wants to be German I am personally affected by this assault against my Volk. The German nation is not only entitled to defend itself, it is in fact obligated to defend itself. Because of our cultural substance, we as a nation in central Europe have the duty and obligation to resist attempts to destroy us culturally, to annihilate us as a Volk and a spiritual entity. This is what is at stake! I do not choose to wait for others to defend the German nation - I choose to do it myself! I am telling the truth as I perceive it, and the truth is that the so-called "Holocaust" never happened. That is the obvious reason why there is no evidence of it! There is nothing to support "Holocaust" except the verdicts of Moscow type show trials. These verdicts are constantly hammered into our heads by the Jewish media as "proof" that "Holocaust" was real and that there is an abundance of evidence to support it.

Those who enforces and perpetuate this blood libel is guilty of treason against the German nation. Most notorious among these traitors are the judges of the High Court, who sanctify and reinforce the decisions of the lower courts concerning the absurd "manifest obviousness" of "Holocaust." This is worse than merely perverting justice -- it is carrying out deliberate genocide against the German people. I have proven the guilt of the robed traitors in Karlsruhe numerous times and I shall continue to stress this even while in prison.

I am facing twelve years' imprisonment. How willl it all end? I am 73 years old, and so this is a life sentence for me. My sentence proves that in Germany today, life imprisonment can be imposed for anyone who refuses do obeisance to the Great Lie. The Jews, of course, are always willing to "bargain." First the dissident is lightly punished, perhaps with just a fine. Or there can be a prison sentence of just a few months, which can be probated. One always has a chance of getting off easily by kowtowing to the Great Lie and giving assurances that there will be no more difficulties in future. This is precisely what the enemy wants.

Anyone who is convinced that life under the Great Lie is not worth living must be kept behind bars forever. Since I have openly expressed this sentiment countless times, knowing full well that the cudgel would fall, the enemy will most assuredly keep me in prison for the rest of my life. The enemy must demonstrate to the cowed public what is really at stake here! Obviously we Germans are now in a situation in which we must rot away our entire lives if we do not submit to the Great Lie. Whatever happens to me ­ I can only say, as our Savior says in the Evangel of St. Matthew: "Whoever is not willing to take up his cross is not worthy of me!"

We are not worthy to call ourselves Germans if we do not stand up for the truth, but unresistingly submit to the Great Lie!

However, I am confident that Germany's historic plight is about to change.

The struggle over the authenticity of "Holocaust" and dominance of "Holocaust" dogma is now raging within the Catholic Church. The Church is still a great power, even though its leadership has been corrupted and undermined by the Jews. With its great wealth and hundreds of millions of faithful followers, the Church is the rock on which the ship of the Great Lie will crash and perish.

The Jews are about to experience their Waterloo.

Once "Holocaust" is openly discussed, knowledge of its true nature can no longer be suppressed. When the Bishop Williamson affair reaches the point at which a sitting pope is forced to again excommunicate him, as the head of ADL (Anti Defamation League: the fighting organization of world Jewry) demands; or if, under pressure of the Jewish media and corrupt politicians, Pope Benedict XVI abdicates the Throne of Peter, this will be an excruciating shock for the Catholic world, and the truth will break through on this account! Christian faith is based on the Truth, the Rock of Ages.

The Truth will make us free and the will to be free will grow stronger until it is irresistible, and then we will prevail. As for me, I have done everything I could do. I have set an example.

I have often said that ours is the easiest revolution that was ever carried out. We need only for a few thousand persons to rise up and speak the truth as clearly and openly as Bishop Williamson has done and I have attempted to do, along with the others who have filed legal complaints against themselves for telling the truth and distributing Germar Rudolf's "Lectures on the Holocaust."

The ultimate victory of the truth is inevitable, as is the defeat of the global Zionist Empire. However, we have no way of knowing how much more time must pass, or the exact circumstances that will usher in the victory of the truth. We have to wait and see.

At present we are witnessing another collapse of the global Jewish financial system. The Jewish power base, the temple of their god Jahweh­Mammon, has been struck in the heart by the collapse of their predatory banking system. Jewish power is based on money power, which buys them control of the politicians and media. At present they are losing this money power.

Once they lose it, they also lose control of government and public opinion. Their control of public opinion has already been weakened by the rise of the uncensored Internet, which they are unable suppress. When they lose control of the media, they will be in a pitiable condition indeed!

When that happens, the Jews will be grateful that we understand and accept their historic role in world redemption. We recognize their destructive tyranny as a revelation of the path of God through the world to Himself, as the philosopher Hegel explained. We respect the Jews as the followers of Satan and we accept them in the certainty that we can redeem them as well as ourselves, by bringing the Truth into the world through our deeds. The Jews are in dire need of redemption, and they will one day be grateful to us!

Report on the first asylum hearing for the "Heretical Two", Simon Sheppard and Stephen Whittle

Simon Sheppard and Stephen Whittle have finally gotten their first hearing on their application for political asylum in the United States, after eight months in prison. Most asylum seekers with black or brown skins are routinely given low bail, or simply released into the community, and given a perfunctory court date at which they are politely asked to show up, in the full knowledge that's probably the last that will be seen of them unless and until they commit another crime and are arrested later.

Sheppard and Whittle, however, are Caucasian and dangerous thought criminals to boot, so they have been imprisoned for eight months for the "crime" of asking America to fulfill its promise and let them be free.

To-day the Heretical Two’s asylum hearing proceeded before the U. S. Immigration Judge, Her Honour (I suspect that should be Honor!) Judge Rose Peters. Simon Sheppard and Steve Whittle (who were brought into court in handcuffs and leg irons, which, they confirmed, is standard procedure when asylum seekers are held in detention pending the hearing of their case, and not victimisation of themselves) presented their own cases, as their attorney, Bruce Leichty, had withdrawn from the case by leave of the Court, since he was not satisfied with the (substantial) retainer that he had received from friends of Simon and Steve. The U. S. government was represented by its attorney, Miss Myers.

The Court heard evidence from Simon and Steve about their experiences at the hands of the British police and Crown Prosecution Service, and also from their English counsel, Adrian Davies, who gave evidence about the relevant provisions of English law (the Public Order Act 1986, as amended) and the English Court’s assertion of jurisdiction over web pages hosted on a server located in Torrance, California.

The hearing was conducted in a very fair, courteous and thorough manner, though inevitably Simon and Steve were at some disadvantage, because they are not lawyers, and are moreover being held in prison, where they have had very limited facilities to prepare for the hearing. After a lengthy sitting, the Court adjourned to 1 p.m., West Coast time, on 24th March, when Simon and Steve will address the Court on their own behalf, and Miss Myers will make representations on behalf of the U. S. government.

Statement of Henrik Holappa:

I have been persecuted by the government (army, police, prosecutors), the mass media, and an employer in my country starting on August 8, 2006, when the security police, the SUPO, visited my apartment, which I shared with my sister Natalija, and then my school, asking both her and me many questions and warning me to abandon my beliefs -- or else I would lose my prospects of ever being a security guard, and also be “unwelcome in Germany,” a country I intended to visit.

Then the Finnish police obviously notified all Finnish security companies that I should not be employed even as a security guard. I found no one would hire me, although I had graduated from the security guard school Osakk on August 25, 2006. The security company ISS had verbally promised me employment guarding University Hospital in Oulu, but at the end of October 2006 it suddenly had no record or file at all of my job application and two-hour interview on October 9, 2006. So I lost that career possibility.

For centuries, my family has honorably served Finland in military service, under Swedish, Russian and Finnish governments, and both my grandfathers fought against the Soviets in WWII; many of my father's cousins fell for Finland's freedom in the war. Both grandfathers suffered greatly in the war, and one never quite recovered from Soviet captivity, suffered severe depression and died in his forties. It was therefore extremely painful to me as an patriotic Finn to be in effect dishonorably discharged on September 6, 2007 from the Finnish Army Reserve solely because of my political views. My reservist duty was to be renewed in January 2008.

I had considered a full-time military career before that, and in fact had left high school to join the army out of love of military service; this career was now also destroyed.

The police came to my apartment on Tuesday, January 16, 2007, at 3:20 pm, and ransacked it, throwing things on the floor, and seized both my computers (returning them three days later.) They then went to my parents' home, where I was raised as a child, and the criminal police officer Sari Isometsa Tihinen (whose business card is enclosed with my application) threatened my mother that:

--I was “in big trouble,” that
--“Henrik might not come home for a long time,” and that
--if I pursued my beliefs, I “would not have any part in our society.”

I was in police custody for 24 hours at the Oulu police station that same day in a concrete cell with the lights burning day and night, on suspicion of sending a photograph or writing an article, both unprovable charges, and I was not allowed to make any phone calls. After the 24 hours I was told that I was now under arrest, and spent two more days in that cell with nothing to read or do, incommunicado, without visitors, and with no phone call to anyone. The police told my mother that I was under arrest. I was released without charges on the 19th.

When I emerged from jail, I discovered that the main newspaper in northern Finland, Kaleva, had violated on the day of my detention, January 16, the Finnish press custom of never reporting the name of a suspect, even a murder suspect, under the presumption of innocence, until he had been actually convicted at the end of a trial. However, the article mentioned me by my name in the very first paragraph, and stated falsely as a proven fact that I had written a certain article in December 2006.

It was an article denouncing gangs of African rapists of my countrywomen of whom many were and are still running around un-arrested in my city. The article highlighted the infamous “scissor rapists” -- Sudanese black Africans who clitorectomized a Finnish female rape victim with scissors in June 2005 in Oulu and were sentenced to three years in prison in January 2006. The author asked why Finland was bringing in such immigrants and why there were no subsequent arrests for the other African gang rapists still terrorizing my city. (Finland itself has no history of gang rape among the native Finns.)

The media article also stated as fact the unproven assertion that I had sent off a clipped newspaper photo to America – as a serious “copyright violation” -- and the lie that while living in Oulu as a young Finn without any website skills, I was “the webmaster” of an American website.

This was obviously a coordinated campaign by the Finnish government, police and media, all together, to make me a hated person to both leftist Finns and to the very Somali and Sudanese gang rapists who then, as now, are on the loose in the city of my birth. (There have been no prosecutions of African gang rapists there since the scissors rapists were convicted in January 2006, 33 months ago, although the problem continues and these immigrants stand out memorably by their appearance to both their victims and the public in my Scandinavian country.)

There are also many black immigrants, all Muslim Africans, in my apartment building, who live on my street and in my neighborhood, and they can know who I am, because the main newspaper in all of northern Finland, Kaleva, with a daily circulation of 300,000, used my name. They can afford this newspaper because they can get up to 3,000 euros a month in welfare for a family, while an unemployed Finn can get only 400 euros a month.

The security police, SUPO, could even remind the African Muslim communities of my name and address.

On May 11 or 12, 2008 I received a phone call while visiting neighboring Estonia from the same Sari Tihinen, asking me when I could come to the police station in Oulu. She further informed me over the telephone that the top prosecutor in Finland, Mika Illman, whose name suggests Jewish ancestry and thus animus toward me, had “dug up [my] case again.”

On Tuesday, May 20, 2008 this same policewoman further warned me, now at the Oulu police station, that I was to be indicted by the government of Finland on three serious charges so as to “make an example of me for other racists in Finland,” as follows:

1)two years imprisonment for “incitement of racial hatred” [sic];
2)two years behind bars for “defaming the honor of the African community of Finland” [sic]; and
3)six months imprisonment for “copyright violation.” (I had merely scanned a photo of “multiculturalism” from a Finnish newspaper, and sent it as a private email attachment to an American friend. He then, unbeknownst to me, posted it on an American website.)

I believe I was targeted because the Finnish authorities hate my views and see me as a young leader whose crushing would preclude any political movement I could start. (I have never started any movement; I only turned 23 in July.)

I am sure that the Finnish government would harm me on my return by arresting me and prosecuting me, and putting me in prison next to Somali and Turkish felons who might hate me and seek to beat, rape or kill me. The Finnish government would itself be my main persecutor, and might not protect me at all in prison. In fact, it might invite inmates to get a sentence reduction if they harmed me.

They might also put me, as an “extremely dangerous person” (the policewoman's words to me and to members of the True Finns political party of which I was once a member) in a maximum security prison where I would be shut up in a cell for 23 hours a day. This is a form of severe mental harm, especially for an innocent person who deserves no punishment.

The Finnish government is modern and controls all the territory of Finland, so there is no place in my country where I could hide for long. Furthermore, all other European Union countries have laws similar to Finland's and would arrest me on a European Union arrest warrant to extradite me back to Finland or to any other EU country that objects to my views.

Just one week ago, Dr. Fredrick Toeben, an Australian, was arrested by British detectives on the runway of Heathrow Airport near London on an EU arrest warrant issued in Mannheim, Germany. His plane from the USA to Dubai had merely landed there to refuel and discharge some passengers. The German prosecutor said he feared a German “could” read Toeben's English-language Australian website.

I left Finland by plane and flew via Iceland to the United States on July 11, 2008. I came here as a bona fide tourist, but decided toward the end of my tourist stay that I loved America, its people, its beauty and its freedom of speech and that I did not want to be imprisoned and possibly murdered in Finland.

Brown signs declaration against anti-Semitism

LONDON (JTA) -- Britain’s prime minister became the first world leader to sign the London Declaration on combating anti-Semitism.

The measure was adopted last week in the British capital by 125 legislators from more than 40 countries at a coalition meeting to combat anti-Semitism.

On signing the declaration, Gordon Brown said, “So many of the principles it enshrines are already things we are doing here in Britain, and while I’m proud of the bold action Britain has taken to combat anti-Semitism such as improved reporting, prosecutions for anti-Semitic Internet hate and the funding of Holocaust education in schools, there is no room for complacency.

He noted that the Department for Communities and Local Government is organizing an event at Beth Shalom, the Holocaust Center, to look in detail at how the government can implement the declaration.

"I encourage other heads of government to become signatories to this historic agreement," Brown said. "Ttogether our renewed efforts can rid the world of this ancient virus."

The London Declaration called on legislators to “expose, challenge and isolate political actors who engage in hate against Jews and target the State of Israel as a Jewish collectivity.” It also calls on governments to “challenge any foreign leader, politician or public figure who denies, denigrates or trivializes the Holocaust and must encourage civil society to be vigilant to this phenomenon and to openly condemn it.”

The London Declaration also calls on the United Nations to” reaffirm its call for every member state to commit itself to the principles laid out in the Holocaust Remembrance initiative, including specific and targeted policies to eradicate Holocaust denial and trivialization.” It also calls for action on education for the public and the authorities.

Former NPD lawyer Horst Mahler sentenced to 6 years in prison for HoloHoax denial - swears to "never give up fight against the Holocaust™ religion"

MUNICH - German dissident Horst Mahler has been sentenced to six years in prison for "Volksverhetzung" (racial incitement). The symbolically significant number of years imposed for "anti- Semitic hate speech" stemmed from his refusal to recognize the Jewish Holocaust®, which he described as "the biggest lie in world history."

The 73-year-old defendant was accused, among other things, of repeated dissemination of his views on the Internet as well as distribution of a revisionist videotape and a CD and book by Holo-skeptic Germar Rudolf, now serving time for "Holocaust® denial" in a German prison.

Immediately following sentencing, the 73-year-old dissident was arrested and led away before astonished onlookers in the courtroom, including many of his supporters.

The former attorney for the rightwing National Democratic Party (NPD) successfully represented that organization when the German regime tried to have it banned in the 1990s. He earlier received prison sentences for thought-crimes on several occasions.

'I have resolved to call a lie a lie'

In his concluding remarks before the court, Mahler noted that with another case pending against him he faces a total of over 12 years in prison - the equivalent of a life sentence, given his advanced age. He would, however, stand by his views.

In setting a personal example, Mahler declared that it was incumbent upon every German to "deal a deathblow to the Holocaust® religion as martyrs for the truth."

The dissident defendant concluded by saying:

"I have resolved to expose this Talmudic perfidy, that over and over again I will call a lie a lie and oppose it with the truth. I have sworn to my people never to give up in this fight against the Holocaust® religion."

German rightist convicted over Holocaust denial

MUNICH, Germany (Reuters) - A German court convicted lawyer and right-wing extremist Horst Mahler on three charges of inciting racial hatred and denying the Holocaust took place, and sentenced him to six years in prison.

Mahler, 73, once a left-wing militant and founding member of the Red Army Faction (RAF), is a trained lawyer who later in life switched sides and became a far-right activist, joining the extremist NPD party in 2000.

Denying the Holocaust is a crime in Germany, punishable by up to five years in prison.

Mahler is a repeat offender and was sentenced to one year more than the maximum recommended sentence because he was unrepentant, the court said.

Mahler was charged after holding a public speech in which he denied the Holocaust took place and posting Holocaust denials on the Internet. He also continued to deny the Holocaust during his trial and in his closing statement, the court in Munich said.
