And some idiot racist Republicans showed up. Like, imagine five hundred angry leftists screaming about Immigrants' rights and human rights and Palestinian rights and even a few screaming about women's rights and children's rights.
Then imagine six Republicans holding up Israeli flags and signs that said things like "Mr. Bush, Build That Wall!" and "Being Here is a Privilege." Because, as this angry leftist knows, a person born here can lose that privilege and be deported to some random country. Oh, what? That's not true? That sign makes no sense? Ah. I guess being here is a privilege for brown people, who should be grateful for the chance to clean our homes and pick our grapes.
I went up to the woman carrying the wall sign and asked her just who she expected to build the wall if not Mexicans? Apparently, "we don't need the illegals" and "we can't assimilate all of them" are the standard Republican answers to that question. "So, housewives in La Jolla?" I asked. "They're here legally!" Yea. Ok. "Who's going to pay for the wall?" I inquired. "We'll use the money we're not spending on the illegals!" Ok. Good. So instead of filling out a massive check to "The Illegals" every month, Bush can use that mythical immigrant child support to construct a massive wall to keep out them brown people (but we're not racist! we swear!)
